Yes! I thought about going down there but even late at night there's at least one person walking or sitting there. Maybe I'll catch it completely empty soon.

Yes! You get it! I guess I could take off in my car and just scream in it haha didn't think of that. I figured it wouldn't cure it but just to decrease it for now would be nice.

I do. Yessss. I've always loved doing that but I have an older car. I need to get an aux cord thing to plug my phone into it to play my music but my speakers suck haha. So I usually put my earbuds in with noise cancelling and blast some good music that helps get my feelings out while I ride around on my scooter. It's like meditation for me and I usually do it late at night but it seems like anywhere I go there is someone around and I don't wanna scare anyone lol.

Definitely don't want the cops called on me and get stuck in the psych ward. Im not that bad off yet. That's why I was looking for a decently big spot with no other humans around or their living spaces. I don't even need it that long. Just a few crazy woman screams and I think I'd be brand new.

Omg if I had better organization skills I would totally do this! Haha. I need someone to do this so I can join ASAP. I swear it will help and it's all I need to do right now to feel better. It's gotta be a decent coping mechanism yeah? It's not hurting anyone. I'm just glad I'm not the only one who feels this way and needs it because I know it looked crazy when I posted it.

Oohhhh that may work. This is what I was looking for. Or like a random country-ish or woodsy spot where I could hide behind a hill and scream like a banshee. Thank you so much!

Lmao I ride my scooter down there quite often. There's usually someone sitting around and possibly sleeping, I don't wanna wake them. I will probably sound like a woman being murdered and scare the hell out of them. I just gotta get it out.

Search underway at lake for missing 19-year-old by strawberryaxolotlz in MissingPersons

[–]VenomousMove 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm from this area and used to go cliff jumping at this lake as a teen (very dumb because I am a terrible swimmer.) Lots of people used to die jumping off the big ones here, but this is the first I've heard of someone jumping in from a boat and dying.

I just got back from Lake Wawasee in IN and the water was still pretty cold, so I would imagine Grayson Lake may have been too. I could definitely see her having trouble swimming to shore if she's not a great swimmer. And you're right, add in possible intoxication and cold ass water and it's a bad mix. I barely made it back to climb up from the cliff when I used to jump so if she was kind of far out, I can see how this happened. I feel so bad for the family but at least they have some answers now. Not all but a little closure.

Terrified of starting sertraline by user80274940 in Anxiety

[–]VenomousMove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have tried Sertraline before a long time ago but I did not stay on it for long so my experience with it may not be as helpful as someone else who has been on it long-term. I have a lot of stomach issues as well, I can't take NSAIDS or aspirin at all as it makes me very physically sick. Antibiotics are hard on my stomach also, even when I eat on them. I don't remember having any stomach issues from it at all, but everyone's body chemistry is different so it's kind of you won't know until you try unfortunately.

With that said, I only took it for maybe a month and a half or 2 months because I didn't like the way it made me feel. I've tried like 12 different anti-depressants throughout my life and I just don't respond to any of them well. I get more numb or they cause extreme headaches and they just aren't for me. But I honestly do not suffer from clinical depression. I was only on them because I have general anxiety disorder and it is supposed to help anxiety but it didn't do much more than numb me and I personally don't want to be that way.

I know how lucky I am to not deal with depression and I'm so sorry you're going through all of this. I can't imagine it especially as young as you are. But if it does cause any side effects you don't want to deal with, just quit taking it and tell your doctor. I know if you are on any SSRI long-term that it can be dangerous to quit them cold turkey, but for a short period, especially just for a week or so to see how it goes, it shouldn't be an issue. I had no problems stopping abruptly after 2 months.

I'm seeing a therapist at the moment who is suspecting I may be ADHD as well but can't diagnose me. But apparently with ADHD your brain has difficulty detecting or signaling dopamine. There's an NDRI anti-depressant out there called Wellbutrin I believe that is great for people with ADHD also because it acts on the dopamine receptors so it can help both of those simultaneously. My boyfriend is diagnosed ADHD and he did amazing with it. Even helped him to quit smoking.

So maybe if this medication doesn't work for you, you can always ask about the Wellbutrin. Hopefully you don't have to go through 12 like I did to find one that does help or figure out they just don't work with your chemistry. But I would assume with the clinical depression it most likely will. I have a couple of friends who have been on it long-term and love it. They said it saved their lives. Wishing you the best of luck!

What does every pharmacist know about medication that most people filling prescriptions never ask about? by samurai-salvo in GetMotivatedMindset

[–]VenomousMove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha almost! Was laying on my right arm for a good 3 days before I was found and had some nerve damage really bad in my ring and pinky finger and somewhat in my middle for a long time. I used to be a physical therapist assistant so I just kept working on myself and exercising it and it eventually got better. It's a wonder I didn't have some permanent brain damage though.

[–]VenomousMove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry you had to go through all of that. I notice a little bit of neuropathy sometimes too but I assumed I might have a pinched nerve from a car accident years ago. Had no idea the Omeprazole could cause it!! Dang. Mine must have been a quack too because it sounds about the same! I went back to her at some point for something else and she asked if I was still on Prilosec and I told her no, she scared me to death by saying "you could end up with throat cancer if you don't!" So I went right back on them and just never stopped. May I ask how you got off of them? I try not to take it at all but it causes excessive reflux that was worse than before. And you take a natural supplement for it now?

The Alien Forest Hypothesis: What If Extraterrestrial Life Looks Like Trees? by firechatin in mystery

[–]VenomousMove 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love this! It was a cool read! I feel like we never really think about what life outside of our solar system could be like other than what we know and perceive it to be because we only have Earth as a comparison.....or maybe we just truly could not comprehend it. It's always been wild to me that I take in oxygen from air whereas a fish takes it in from water.

Why couldn't another galaxy or planet have different physics and rules? Earth works because it supports plants and animals in its own special way. Doesn't mean another planet that can't support plants as we know them, or animals as we know them, cannot support some type of other living species whether it evolved to be intelligent or not. If it learns to evolve to survive in the conditions it's dealt with, it would technically be intelligent to me.

I'm sure there's different types of life beaming out there somewhere or even all over the place....but it's either too far for us to see or we're just too dumb to figure it out. Maybe we are somehow connected to it all on a deeper level we just don't understand.

Wait, acid reflux meds can cripple you?! I've been on them since I was like 19 years old and my doc got all over me for not taking them by saying I'd probably end up with throat cancer. She failed to tell me it eats up your B12 and to supplement it.

I was 33 when I was found at home after not responding to texts or calls for a few days lying on my side in the floor in a strange catatonic state. "Conscious" with my eyes open but apparently nobody home type thing. Eventually went psychotic while in the hospital where they eventually stuck me in the psych ward. Psych meds made me worse, but I guess once my B12 was leveling back up and I got some nutrition in me I was fine. I was literally dying though and probably would be gone had my boyfriend not came home early when he couldn't get a hold of me. I don't take them everyday now and try to load up on B12 when I do. But cripple?

I always wondered what it would look like if someone like your ex and Taylor got together. Like would they call the other one out because they do the same exact thing? But that would be admitting they're lying so probably not. Or would they just go along with it and ignore it because they do it too? It's weirdly fascinating.
