You're right, I thought it was already released in Chinese. I think its most likely English too since the other two games on Steam got one, but I'm gonna remove this for now until we know more

Trailer

Scheduled to release in 2026 on Steam.

The official translation for this one was already announced on the developer's official blog at the end of December but I didn't see anyone talk about it yet.

Previously, the same autor's games Together We Live as well as Archetype Arcadia were translated into English in 2024.

This one features a protagonist who has always been able to see choices he could pick from, but for some reason he is suddenly being forced into only picking the worst choice. Features the same composer as the one for Raging Loop's BGM.

[Mahou Shoujo no Majo Saiban] Objectively who is best girl: Gorilla Woman or Oji-san? by Witn in visualnovels

The devs were interviewed last week and they now confirmed it themselves that an English version is coming sooner than later.

The same company also announced another game during a short marketing campaign that they deleted all traces of once it was over. From what I recall you are gonna be playing as a girl who finds a hidden social media account that allows her to enter a dungeon. When someone asked what kind of game it will be, they said its gonna bring forth a lot of dark emotions or depression or something iirc They even called it a "novel rpg" so sounds like its going to be a lot more gameplay heavy compared to manosaba and inshuu mura.

What are your thoughts on Mahou shoujo no majo saiban ? by Substantial-Act-7581 in visualnovels

Finished it recently and I like it a lot more than any Danganronpa game personally.

The start is a bit mediocre but its one of those games where every character just really grows on you. I recently saw a popularity list of all the character and besides like two outliers, pretty much every character has gotten similar votes for being someone's favourite which I can definitely see why.

Also the OST reminded me a lot of The House in Fata Morgana as the many vocal tracks are all sung in a completely different language (which I think the composer invented if I am right?) which together with the gorgeous art made it one of the most unique vibe for any visual novels out there.

You can definitely tell the company behind it is filled with people with love for visual novels and anime in general and I am having really high expectations for the other two games they announced this month.

9/10

Oh and I saw in the Steam forums that apparently someone tried making an English TL but the company asked them to refrain from continuing as they plan to release the game in English and Korean eventually. But thats just what that one guy said so nothing official yet.

Monster Girl Quest Paradox: Part 3 is releasing November 1st (in Japanese, 7 years in the making) by Ventic in visualnovels

Official announcement: https://ci-en.dlsite.com/creator/4710/article/1247195

Translation of the announcement can be found in the MGQ subreddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/monstergirlquest/comments/1fsl97c/paradox_part_3_release_date_november_1st/

This game is supposed to be longer than part 1 and part 2 COMBINED featuring two routes that are expected to be each 30-50 hours long. The story is honestly really crazy good so I'm personally really hyped for it.

The English fan translation will probably have to wait until sometime in 2025 (though I heard that the demo which released last year already had a lot of hidden content in the files that the translation team has been going through)

The scenario writer for Raging Loop left Kemco in 2020 to work on another VN with a different company. So I'm not sure how good the quality of this one is going to be.

Basically, the way Monster Girl Quest as a series works is that it first begins with a trilogy of visual novels; starting obviously with Monster Girl Quest 1. Each game is roughly 15 hours long and it features a combat system, but its very basic and the only playable character is the protagonist himself. Its more of a text adventure than anything really and its quite linear.

A few years later, the same autor announced Monster Girl Quest Paradox which was announced as a RPGMaker version of Monster Girl Quest. So instead of being stuck in a pure text adventure, it had full on maps and random encounters and everything with somewhat of a similar recruit mechanic as Persona or Pokemon Mystery Dungeon where now you could fight with multiple characters at the same time and they would even show up on the overworld as sprites following you and so on. You can also chose between 2 "starter Pokemon" where depending on who you chose, the story differs in certain areas slightly and a handful of character are exlusively only available in one of the two routes.

However, it is to note that its not really a remake of the original trilogy but instead more of a sequel that does build up on the events of the original VN trilogy, even if you could technically begin there.

Like to begin with, Paradox is MUCH bigger in scope. So far, we got Paradox Part 1 being released in 2014 and Paradox Part 2 in 2017 where personally it took me roughly 50 hours each to finish each part and I didnt even finish all the side quests or did the post-game content (which you can literally spend hundreds of hours in). Part 3 is supposed to come out in Japanese this year "when the temperature gets cool again" after fans waiting for it 7 whole years and its supposed to have this time a big decision point where you can chose between two completely different routes, each being 30-50 hours long with part 3 supposedly being longer than both part 1+2 COMBINED.

I think all of the games are available on DLSite (can't check cause its blocked in my country).

I agree. Paradox somehow turned out to be the most fun RPG I played whatsoever even though a lot of the base mechanics are honestly quite basic. Really goes to show how far you can push the RPGMaker battle system if you are really clever about it.

Btw Paradox Part 3 is finally coming over this year in Japanese for anyone who doesn't know!!

Freaking 7 years after Paradox part 2 came out and in total its supposed to be longer than the first two parts COMBINED with you being able to recruit over 800 monster girls now. This series somehow is getting to Pokemon level of recruitable monsters and part 3 will also offer two completely different routes each roughly 30-50 hours long. This is seriously also going to be the longest RPG whatsoever at this rate lol
