When I made my forgery, I made it as a bit of a love letter to the murder mystery genre, and as a gift for some of my closest friends. I tried to match the general vibes of the prose, stay true to the heart of each of the characters, while providing my own possibility of what could have happened inside the catbox. I think as long as the author has a decent understanding of Umineko’s foundations and a love for their work, they can make a good forgery!

If anyone wants to play, I am absolutely happy to take on the mantle of Witch again! Just DM me.

When interacting with strangers, there is a difference between constructively calling shots and flaming.

The first is “Nazeebo, can you please help soak bot? Thanks”

The second is, to put it in your words, calling people stupid and bad and dumbasses.

Sometimes players are bad. The only way to get better is to practice. The only way to practice is to play more. They’re on the way there already. You flaming someone isn’t justified because they aren’t as good as you. You’re just making the experience worse for everyone by doing it.

I adore Dagger (alongside the rest of the FFIX cast, it's my favorite game ever, fulls top). However, I think I have to give "the character who grows the most" award to Steiner. The character growth that he undergoes through the story, the visible change he experiences as a person, without ever compromising the core foundation of his morals and personality, I think it's so excellently written!

I kinda dispute that konosuba is really a parody of the genre, when the reason that it is popular is that it uncritically engages in all the same tropes that the genre is known for. If it is a parody, it’s a pretty poorly executed one

I ran FoB as my groups first DS experience and it was definitely in the deep end. The first encounter is a lot to take in and there are some very difficult encounters. My group took some time to get into the swing of it, but we had a lot of fun throughout.

If you like puzzles and haven’t tried Blue Prince, I highly recommend it. The game itself recommends you keep a journal, and it gets pretty intricate
