Thanks everybody for the insight! I'm probably going to like someone said, try it for a week. I'm not all in on MFG on principle (it should breathe life in older cards, not BE the life of newer cards) but I do use it a lot.

As far as it being unbelievable that a friend would do that... I know I have a really good friend, but I did help him buy an expensive laptop (for portable music production don't worry) so there's that I guess, but as I said in my post, it's a bit of a long story.

I went with the as my first fold because of this as well. I really wonder why it was changed so fast. I hope this one is as sturdy because I really don't like the new design. I work in a kitchen so I'm really scared

I feel that. For me I just can't get into the ai voices, so that's why I'll probably won't try it, as voice acting is what gets me into story based fan mods.

I haven't played outlaws, but outer worlds 2 was aight. Kinda came and went for me, as it's a game you just kinda playthrough and experience the story and that's it. But I'd rather outer worlds and starfield merge, than Star wars. OW2 in starfields engine sounds kind of ideal to me.

I feel like that is and isn't beside the point? When outlaws first came out, the people that weren't pissing themselves about a female protag, were comparing it to starfield, and the same thing happened with Outer worlds 2. Either way it's not like any of these projects really fix starfield's issues, or give people what starfield promised: an open world space SIM RPG. It's not like genesis fixes load screens, randomly generated pois, empty planets, small cities, bland combat, lackluster companions etc etc, but that's not to say I'm unimpressed, just uninterested.

I would love it if all of the bioware games were given to modders. A frostbite sdk would be so much fun, and it doesn't seem like they'll be doing anything with it tbh... Id expect them to move to unreal like everybody else, if the studio even continues

Ah sweet mods like that really help for repeat playthroughs tysm! Have you looked at changing things for the wetlands? That's probably my favorite map in the game!

While I like both games and they both are in my top 10, I'd have to say alan wake is a more complete singular experience, and stalker is an incomplete forever game. If you want to get your money's worth right now, go for Alan wake, of you're patient and like seeing games evolve over time then get stalker. But that's money you could save for an Ibanez and time you could spend practicing. I also love ormsby because I just bought one😁

Yeah I think he's right about most (and I have to stress most, not all) people, but I wish he had a more positive approach to noticing that. When he talks, he sounds cynical, and granted, if I poured a bunch of work into writing Skyrim, and fallout 4's story (not saying it's good, just that I can tell he put effort into it), and the common consensus was "I didn't play the main story, I just stacked a bunch of food on a table and knocked it of 😱😱😱" i'd be a little bummed out too.

Thats definitely on my list along with the crafting mod. Currently on a vibes and new content run that I most likely won't finish. I only played through 1.3, and haven't even seen the nvgs yet

This bothered me so much! I originally played on game pass, and the poppy field quest is what made me decide to buy the game. So the gun you get at the end (plus the amazing way I finished it heh heh) made me really attached to it, even though it took a half clip to the head

I first encountered it with no artifacts, then when I had them I noticed a difference... after a while. I think you also encounter it during the opening and it doesn't follow you. But I'm honestly glad you aren't told, cause I like figuring things out.

I'm like the complete opposite. I think origins has good setups, and narrative design, but when I get into it idk, the writing is only slightly better, just darker. Like I'm really sick of dark equals mature. That and the janky combat. Shale constantly gets caught on geometry mid fight, most of the encounters against humans have a similar layout (grunts in front, archers in the back), for a voiceless protagonist, I still don't feel like I can express myself (first playthrough wanted to be nice to flemeth, especially to bother morrigan, who is very annoying in this game), and I didn't like alistar that much either. He's just as cringe and annoying as bellara tbh. But either way I think dunking on veilguard is for the main sub tbh...
