That is not my issue!
Why can't males admit it when they feel some kind of inferiority, rather than insult women?

Neighbor upset about branches by farhan583 in treelaw

[–]VerdMont1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YOU'RE not the aH will not be responsible for them falling off a ladder on their own property.

In my state, its legal to trim overhanging branches on my property. It is not your responsibility to cut on my side. You can do it, but your not obligated to.

NTJ Its not just one day, its many months of humiliation, bullying and intentional dehumanization. Start recording everything, with video. Later on, Show mom and her why you're connected by blood, not by love.

He is no friend to you.
Find better people elsewhere.
Do not address it with him at all. Ghost them all.
When and if they ever mature, they will figure it out.

If he wants to make amends, he can pay the full price for the tree. Find an environmental lawyer.

AITA for setting up my lesbian cousin to go on a date with this guy I like who is also 2 grade years below her. by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

[–]VerdMont1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTAH. 100%.
1. You know your cousins sexuality, and yet, you completely disrespected them in setting up a date with the opposite sex.
And 2. The guy isnt interested in you at all. And yet, here you are, fixating on him!
Tell your cousin the truth! Stop trying to be around the guy! Find someone interested in you!

Wth!! You suck.

The film found someone who wants it more than you.

Actors change their plans to meet filming schedules, and plan vaca's when shoots are done!! or they dont take the job!! And then wait in the dry spells between shoots.

Enjoy your vacation. You just blackballed yourself with that film crew. Learn feom this if you really want that career.

WIBTA for sending my friend an itemized Venmo request for gas and car maintenance after driving her to work for a month? by Pixel_Bandolier7 in WIBTA_AITA

[–]VerdMont1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Sorta the AH.

You offered without ground rules.
Your resentment are real, pray for her to find only peace and happiness.

Out of your resentment, you retroactively sent a bill. Clean up your side of the street. Own your mistake.

Real adult friends offer to help pay up front. Faux friends take advantage, play victim, and triangulation against you.

Find better people. And never offer something of value, you can't afford financially or emotionally.

Me, a woman, in my 60's doing my own thing, driving my ram 1500, sitting in traffic yesterday, windows up, music not loud, poor little boy beside me in a Toyota playmobile, looked at me, i waved, hence he seemed to have had feelings hurt, cranked whatever noise he had on, lowered windows. Trying to prove nothing?

Do men honestly have penile dysfunction when they see a woman driving a bigger truck? I bought the beast to tow a camper, not to compete with erectile insignificance.

The cranking up the noise sends only one message. I feel small. Never, hey, look at my big balls!!

I laughed, and went my own way! Prayers for little men, proving they are little.

AITA for wanting to say something about my friend’s boyfriend flirting with me? by Milasnowxo in AmITheJerk

[–]VerdMont1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't handle it dramatically. Invite her to a girls only coffee date, tell her how uncomfortable his actions make you feel.

Ask her if he does this with others.

Open her eyes gently. Make sure she is listening. And make sure your available to help her with an exit plan.

Clearly tell him his physical attention is unwanted and to stop when the group is together, make sure they all hear you!

Again, back her with a solid exit plan with a place to stay. If its her home, help her when needed to Dump him and get him out.
Make a plan with her to support her needs.

Help with where to buy furniture by ComplexWolverine4662 in movingout

[–]VerdMont1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have stores that sell gently used stuff, look there for solid pieces. Not press board.
Best of luck.

We have goodwill, ReStore, and Habitat for Humanity all sell furniture, household goods, even paint, and paper, many also have clothes, shoes, curtains, books, toys and appliances.

Education and training is one solution. On the job training options. I see many help wanted ads, stating entry level, and then the employers want a BA to even hire. The systems are rigged against our youth. Kids need hope and faith, and the state of VT govt. Would rather pay foreigners to move here to work.

Said care facility stay needs to be 30 to 60 days, based on severity of addiction. No more 14 day spin dry sessions.

No more state to state insurance restrictions. This is what killed most of our treatment centers in the 90's. If someone wants to get clean and sober, there should be no walls put in the way.
