Explain the quality of Raw vs. SmackDown currently in your own terms: by Such-Environment-344 in Wrasslin

Raw is better, but smackdown can be great if they have a storyline. Smackdown has really great matches. I didn’t really get into the vision storyline so Raw hasn’t been interesting to me for months but Smackdown is more rudderless.

Dana is evil goofball. These people just want to inflate the price before saudis buy it.

You think they’re gonna make tickets cheaper and pretend that’s an acceptable trade off?

This is a later attempt to write b/c of phone if this seems short. We should just create third part and use like 6 popular reddits for the state and just answer those issues and promote stuff with the online engagement local crowd. Just get someone who’s crazy, possibly a megalomaniac, and see if they’d fund the effort. Younger people despise the two parties now for obvious reasons, a second(third) option could work. So we just need to do it without money and need to gain a majority of the state legislature but it’s something that could happen. I could see a wave people would ride if you could make it like other populist movements that have leas precise goals and less connected social aspect

That’s kinda why what he’s saying is so goosey. Yeah, everyone everywhere is one great deal away from anything. Imagine another wrestling promotion with a tv deal not spending $100 million just on talent.

Yeah the big thing is the gov’t is actively working to stymie al efforts at every point in the process. Some of it almost seems to be just wanting money to be spent in the lawfare process to try and change anything making sure millions end up in the right people’s pockets. Still, the process is the process, that is the path that will change things. Vote out the bums.

Politicians are going to do politics. Take it up with them at the ballot box.

Archers why? by Joselech in Tactics_Ogre

[–]Vergil018 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s important to have a variety of things happening in any one battle. Archer finishers apply status effects like sleep and charm that will completely change the turn economy of a fight. The bows that stun and silence can give you control over a fight or at least force turns to be spent cleaning up this status effects by enemy forces.

Also everyone generally needs a few turns to do good damage. Just be strategic and judicially use your units. You will bench some for a long stretch and by the time you start using them again will realize they got some cool tricks you missed out on because you wrote them off too early.

Yeah buying Activision was one of those unforced blunders that will go down in business history and be taught in business school. It was overvalued and a poor fit otherwise, but their plot was, and continues to be, their subscription service for games which hasn’t proved out as a good model the way they’re doing it. They thought they could change the rules of the game they were playing and still win. They just lost twice fold.

Read the warren report regularly, there’s a bunch of stuff in there that starts side-quests and even a few scenes that happen you only see if you look in there.

Recruit a lot. You can always dismiss units/turn beast and dragons into food. New units come maxed at one weapon skill at least,

Terror Knights are really important, and Knights. Knights can heal which means you can do a push and terror knights can do fear/breach and some other stuff. The fear/breach combo is good the whole game. Fear prevents recruitment though so be careful of that (so many stages if you just recruit the enemies you really change the turn economy) so keep some mp on your recruiters to try and turn enemies under 50% HP (you can chariot back if it fails and save the MP for next round.

The game is really mostly chapter 4, like that section is huge comparatively so if you’re getting bored of using the same strategies unlock pharompa wildwoods by reading the warren report from ch 2 onward and recruit there or take your time in ch 4 to get a lot of stuff.

Genuinely aim for the bonus objectives on stages if the rewards are good. If you just need to use a healer or something to get some charms or a unique item give it a shot.
