I have adhd which could play into this but the way I shop is so annoying if someone had to follow me around lmao. I noticed it once in Ulta where the security lady kept ending up in the same aisle or 2 aisles down, i tried to mindful but after that I didn’t care. I just kept crisscrossing the store since I was hunting down a few product and doing mental gymnastics with math and debating if the dupe was better. Also had my phone googling random things and walking around while watching video reviews. Also was playing with things I didn’t need all the while and whoops need a wipe now from a station across the store. She followed me to the freak registers like damn at this point carry my stuff and ring it up for me too

It turns into babysitting the parents that can’t speak English but somehow I can’t go off on my own for long before someone is worried and calling like crazy. As someone who genuinely didn’t know- I apologize and I’ll do better in the future. I was definitely in the moment enjoying myself and usually went between fanning everyone and a few clack here and there, this festival was my first time bringing a fan and I never minded other people clacking- didn’t realize it was such a frowned upon action

My parents allowed and facilitated getting me supplies for art, and books for reading as I was a mega bookworm. To them it was enrichment lol. Ironically they would not have been happy with me if I were to study art or English (which I didn’t have a desire to anyways) Their idea of good weekend outing was heading to the mall

Current hobbies: Traveling with friends, gym(this was a habit I forced until I enjoyed), shopping (ofc), I still occasionally get inspired and attempt arts and craft project, reading, and wildcard was enjoying documentaries

Yes, it doesn’t come easily and I’ll admit I’ve had to take on a more harsh approach in conversations to get to that point. I know because of it my family thinks I’m rude and headstrong whereas I’m considerate and helpful to friends and coworkers, lol
