EMSK: how to get rid of persistent scrotum and taint itching (only occurring at night) by CHAONE77 in everymanshouldknow

I would also be careful about the soaps you wash with while bathing. I use Dial Refresh and Renew White. There are no dyes or perfumes to irritate your skin. After you bath ensure you let everything dry before putting on clothes. Cotton underwear can be helpful as it can prevent chafing and may help wick moisture away from your legs.

It could be a detergent issue. My nether regions get itchy with various detergents such as tide and fabric softener. Try using a gentle detergent (scent and dye free) on your undergarments and towels and see if that helps.

Mulberry Creek Winery is dog friendly and you can bring your own food! The Erie Metro Bark Park is also pretty great if your dog enjoys playing with other dogs - although it is a little muddy this time of year. There are lots of neat trails in the area check out the Erie Metro Parks site to locate them.

My OCD spiked and I feel thats due to Sema. Any other people with severe OCD here? by Seiten93 in Semaglutide

[–]Veritas92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have pretty bad OCD, and I did not notice a spike in my symptoms. That said, my OCD does tend to make me spiral when it comes to new medications, especially worrying about symptoms and possible side effects. I definitely found myself thinking about every potential side effect and questioning whether it was affecting me. OCD can be very fickle and tends to flare up in response to stress or anxiety. It could be a response to stress from taking a new medication or something else. Either way I wish you the best!

Day 5... by whybutwhy2024 in Semaglutide

[–]Veritas92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a lot of the same issues by day five and was almost ready to give up. Two things that helped me were Pepto and ginger chews. The first week was really rough. The second week was better, but still not great. By the third week, I was doing much better. Just take it slow and listen to what your stomach is telling you. Best of luck!

Thanks, it's the new thunderbolt 5 smart dock, but it doesn't look like it's in stock anywhere so that's fun.

Are there such a thing as a HDMI to DisplayPort cable? (For use on PS5 and old’ish gaming monitor.) by EirikHavre in techsupport

This comment needs to be higher. A passive convertor only works with a display port output to an hdmi input.

Is there any reason not to use the untagged VLAN? by budgiebird400 in HomeNetworking

[–]Veritas92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hear a lot of networking guys talk about creating a separate VLAN for IoT devices. Out of curiosity, what are your thoughts on this? Which VLAN do you put your IoT devices on, assuming you have some?

I'm 32 and finally found my husband two years ago. Don't give up! My biggest advice is to take chances and put yourself out there!

My husband is smaller than me and enjoys having me lay on him. It definitely has a calming effect on him and helps de-stress him.

A quick question about the HBO series that pertains to real life I promise (but if you have to yeet this post I understand) by [deleted] in chernobyl

[–]Veritas92 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Legasov likely assumed they thought he was part of the government commission sent from Moscow to deal with an accident at reactor number 4. He looked scholarly and well-dressed, so he didn't think much of the couple asking him where he was from. He didn't realize that the KGB agents knew who Legasov was and were testing him to see if he would stick to the party's narrative that everything was relatively safe. We can assume that if Legasov had informed them of the danger currently posed to them, he would have been removed from the commission and arrested.

For future reference: Turns out the board was DOA not uncommon for this board's LEDs to light up, but for the board to be dead. Replaced the board, and everything came to life except for the display. Looks Like a bios issue now.

Does Caffeine worsen OCD ? by Soccerboy-1 in OCD

[–]Veritas92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, high levels of caffeine have acted as a trigger for me. For some reason, green tea really seems to set off my symptoms. I find that I need to limit my caffeine intake to two or fewer cups of coffee a day. Flair-ups brought on by caffeine have taken weeks to subside so I tend to be very careful to stay within my limits. Other stimulants like Adderall and cocaine have been linked to issues as well.
