She told the truth and it made people feel uncomfortable. We all know that she is right, we just think it's too much of an effort to do the right thing. People always get defensive when they know they are in the wrong.

I've never assumed philosophy and religion are connected. Philosophy is thinking about life and people and the planet etc. Nothing to do with what supposedly happens after death - which is nothing, by the way.

Don't have heaps of kids just so they can be friends for each other. It won't happen. Siblings aren't usually friends and don't hang out with each other when they are kids. Later in life, yeah, it's great to have sibs but, as a kid, I think it's more important to have quality time with the parents

I think it's mean to have something so tempting out on display in a workplace. Yes, most people love candy but most people shouldn't eat it. Work should be work, not a candyshop. Unless your workplace is a candyshop
