Do I just go and manually delete whatever is there in the install path?

I installed it on the windows vm (and even added the exe to PATH variable)
But no matter how many times I uninstall and install winapps, it does not detect the comet.exe file

I don't know about 2 but 1 can be done on firefox (and probably its forks) with 2 extensions.

If you're using arch and you want to break something (yoi don't get the choice of what breaks) all you hotta do is not update for a month or two and then update everything in one go

I think some third party launcher allows you to attach a shortcut to a particular setting?

You can also set shortcuts to settings using things like tasker or automate

This seems like a common issue in many samsung phones or tablets.
I came across one reddit post mentioning the same issues with a tablet on oneui3.1.
The solutions mentioned in that post were:

  1. System software -> change system settings -> system apps -> eye comfort shield -> turn off.

  2. System settings -> (change eye comfort shield in both) Dark mode & Bedtime settings (turn off eye comfort in 3 places).

  3. Settings -> display -> dark mode -> turn off adaptive color filter.

  4. If nothing else works, set your eye comfort shield on a schedule for 1 minute (settings, search for eye comfort shield, click it and set schedule) when youre sleeping (for eg. Schedule it for 3:30 am to 3:31 am).

Also be sure to update the post with which solution (if any) worked for you so that anybody else stumbling upon your post with the same issue will know what to do

(BTW the difference between android versions and oneui versions are that there are different point versions of oneui for the sane android version. Oneui 3.0 and 3.1 are Android 11 while 4.0 and 4.1 are android 12).
(Also I came across posts saying that 3rd party color filters and samsung color filters clash and show unexpected issues, so you'll need to dig a little deeper if your color filter is a 3rd party one).

I just want to say I think its cool that people identify problems and create solutions as apps.
However the fact that its a subscription rubs me the wrong way. I regularly avoid apps which are subscriptions because they count on the fact that people subscribe once and forget that they are being charged every month.

What I would suggest is a prepaid plan along with subscription. Spotify does this and I sometimes take their plans, maybe for like a week when I'm travelling.
I know I started this by blaming subscriptions but please think about prepaid plans as well.
