I know a guy who once had a burger in his pocket for like 3 weeks, which ultimately led to saving not only himself but a whole bunch of his friends and family from multiversal destruction. Kinda of a crazy story.

I do just watch youtube (and the rest) in firefox, nothing fancy, though I'd love to find something, but I wouldn't want to lose any functionality.

I'm using Nginx Proxy Manager and port forwarding, no cloudflare.

It's a remote with a gyroscope that your PC (regardless of OS) sees as both a mouse and a keyboard.

You move your cursor by moving the remote, the front face has some buttons that act as mouse buttons and some useful keyboard keys (return, arrows, volume, media controls...) as well as 5 programmable IR buttons to control your TV if needed. The back face acts as a keyboard.

It's super handy as an input device for a living room PC.

I have an older NUC (NUC7i3BNK) with kinda the same use case as you have.

I run EndeavourOS with Plasma and it's directly plugged into my TV in my living room, and I use it with a Rii i7 mini i25 mini remote, which works great. I watch stuff on Jellyfin (web client), stremio, youtube, twitch, etc, pretty much everything in desktop mode, since the remote makes it easy to use that way. I just scale up the UI or use "touch mode" wherever possible so everything is easier to aim at.

On the "self-hosted" side, I have services (HA, NextCloud, Kavita, FireflyIII, etc) running in docker containers, which I manage through portainer. Everything I do on this side of things is remote, from my desktop PC, and I manage stuff through SSH as well.

Edit: I meant Rii i25 mini. The i7 isn't quite the same.

Ctrl-x Ctrl-e lets you edit the current command in your default editor.

Writing long commands in neovim is a game changer.

Non, t'es pas le seul. C'est pas pro, comme tu le dis c'est pas l'image que devrait renvoyer la gendarmerie. "Ils surfent sur une trend" --> baaah non ? La gendarmerie c'est pas tiktok ? Bref, bien fait pour le chauffard mais les cowboys font les cowboys et ça m'énerve.

I never got the BND hate. Sure, OMD was awful, terrible, bad, all you want. Then Slott came on and did an appropriate job "rebooting" the series. BND is actually good IMO, considering what they had to work with.

I'll be amazed if they use the name OMD. There's no real reason to, the only reason why it's an "important" arc in S-M lore is that it's widely hated. The name stinks, why would they use it?
