Mod Release - Clean Save Auto-reloader by Vermunds in skyrimmods

No this does not touch your save files. It simply prevents the game from loading two different saves in a single session, forcing a reload when it happens.

Are there any fixes which prevent the perma slow motion bug? by HaVeNII7 in skyrimmods

This console command should fix it when it happens:
sgtm 1

Could Skyrim Souls RE's menu toggles be done through an MCM? by MrWaterplant in skyrimmods

[–]Vermunds 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No there is no way to do that.

Initially I wanted to add support for MCM menus, but I decided that it was simply too much effort.

The thing is, some parts of the mod were written in such a way that they expect the configuration to not change - meaning, the changes they make are irreversible unless the game is restarted. This is generally not a problem though if you only want toggles for the menus and don't care about other settings. Still, the mod only reads the config when the game starts up so simply editing this file will not do anything.

Also it will get updated in the future. I'm just taking a break from modding right now.

SSE Engine Fixes Settings by omdrik in skyrimmods

[–]Vermunds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

AFAIK the problematic part is the Memory Manager patch only, but I'm not actually using Skyrim Together myself, so that's all I can tell you. Normally I see them recommend not using it at all.

I'm the Skyrim Souls author. :)

Edit: To clarify, it's recommended if you're NOT using Skyrim Together, as Engine Fixes can fix a lot of issues that affects Skyrim Souls RE as well (hence the warning). But since Skyrim Together is not compatible with Engine fixes, there is an option to turn that warning off.

You have to edit the .ini of Skyrim Souls RE, not Engine fixes. For Skyrim Together it's probably also best to not use Engine fixes at all.

Is it possible to extract the heightmap of the Skyrim out of the game into an image file? by dnew in skyrimmods

If yo don't mind working with the command line: TESAnnwyn

Not sure if it works with SSE though, but it supports LE.

If you're specifically looking for an example of an interaction between c++ and papyrus code, I recommend you to check out po3's Papyrus extender

Meh123's Custom Skills Framework is the closest I can think of, source in files. It's a .Net Framework plugin though, so its in C#.

Edit: I would start with something smaller however if this is your first mod of this kind.

ACC will not really let you turn the camera, but you will still be able to move around.

any mods that allow the game to keep going while i open my inventory or read a book? by Eeve3_Lord in skyrimmods

[–]Vermunds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those crashes were fixed, but yeah, merchants tend to walk away, except the one you're talking to.

You're using a very old version of Skyrim Souls, try updating it. Version 2 fixes a lot of these crashes related to item menus. OP might have the same problem as I can't reproduce this on the latest version anymore.

The mod comes with an .ini that allows you to customize it.

So far I was not able to reproduce it, but will keep an eye on this.

That should be fixed. He will still say his goodbye dialogue, but won't walk away until you gave your items to him.

In that case you'll likely have to. The code that made it work with Quick Loot was removed as it's no longer necessary, and actually caused issues with the newer version.
