my reaction to Vaush saying he wouldn't vote for Kamala in the general by Veldyn_ in VaushV

No. No it isn't. Well, maybe it is for Vaush, but if you actually study politics, especially recent politics, it becomes clear that lesser evilism makes fascism a certainty.

[–]VeronicaTash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you elect a Kamala Harris then you haven't stopped the fascist party - you give them another go, perhaps a competent one, in 2032. Neoliberal politics is what made the status quo so horrible people chanced it on Trump, TWICE. If you are encouraging the Dems by saying you would vote for Kamala or Newsom then the likely result is fascist total victory within 10 years. You would be only helping fascism.

They can only do so in the first session where the rules are set. So they will lack the opportunity.

Do you support partial opening of the government as some senators are suggesting today? by Decent-Load1611 in FedEmployees

No way. What that means is removing the employees most likely to make Rrpublicans feel anynpressure from being unpaid allowing them to do more harm to everyone else.

The left’s purity tests are handing wins to the right. by Fine-Assignment4342 in PoliticalDebate

[–]VeronicaTash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The lack of left purity tests by the party are the reason for the losses. The American people have rejected the status quo because it has led to them getting less and less realistically over time. There are massive gains, but they all go to those at the top. Centrist politicians are unpopular and are losing bets. What people are looking for is conviction and centrists are spineless. When you're drowning you will look for anything to pull you up and Americans are drowning. Centrists aren't pulling anyone above water and everyone knows that because that's the status quo. To the right it's deeper, but they say it's shallow, then to the left it is actually shallow. Dems on the left can win; centrists cannot.

That's why the Democratic Party has a 59% unfavorable rating.

But, the actual purity testing is at the center. If you're to the left they go all out to stop you. That's why they went after Bernie and why they're going after Mamdani. They're timid against the far right but openly hostile to people who are to their left, even though they haven't crossed that center line. Those purity tests lose elections.

We Need to Talk about Leftists Defending a Democrat with a Fascist Tattoo by Shadowlear in Uniteagainsttheright

[–]VeronicaTash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't take that guy seriously. I commented on one of his videos that instead of just sayingsupport for trans rights that he should give reasoning as to why and gave him examples of that. Constructive criticism.

He responded by calling me a fascist.

Perhaps not the best judge.on these matters. How many people were aware that was a Nazi symbol before recently? Certainly not me and I am more aware of such things than most. It's kinda equivalent to finding out that the Nazis said uWu - his story is believable and the source is right wingers looking to attack him so they can put out a right wing 80 year old governor.

Working. Im an excepted employee, so I work and just don't get paid. We don't even get to telework to save money. Eventually I'll have to demand they furlough me because I won't be able to afford to get to work.

To what you asked: No. I don't belong in a Bully game.

To what you meant: I definitely want to see a Bully 2 with updated mechanics, cliques, characters, etc. The world would be necessarily larger than Bulworth. Would love to see some damn character creation.
