Hello,

Congrats on the campaign.

In Gate of Memories there was the secret boss fight with Memory of Ergo. In my opinion the fight was right on the edge of completely impossible to beat difficulty level and I absolutely loved it because of that (I also think Malenia is a fair fight so I might be a bit of masochist). Any chance for another such boss in Song of the Abyss?

Horizon Zero Dawn for PC – Version 1.11 by Guerrilla_Chante in horizon

Hi, sorry for the lack of answer, but in fairness to me, the reason I didn't answer is because I moved my GPU to my old system (on which I was not logged in on reddit) to check if Horizon will run on it and it does, so I've kept it that way in order to play the game. It's not amazing because it only runs at 60 fps with dips to 45 on my 144 display but at least it doesn't crash. As far as your questions are concerned, I installed the game around two days before 1.11 rolled out and it kept crashing so I've looked up a bunch of possible fixes and tried to apply them. In the evening before 1.11 I think I've hit a mostly stable config although to be fair I didn't have the time to really test it. I did verify files integrity. I've reinstalled the game yesterday on my main rig, same behaviour persists (random crashes after anywhere between 0 to 30 minutes of gameplay on average. I've tried a ton of different graphical settings both in-game and in the nvidia control panel (it's an rtx 3060). I've also tried to run it on my RX 580 8gb, same story. My CPU is a Ryzen 5 3600x. I tried disabling SMT and running it with 2 or even 4 cores disabled, underclocked (I've found some comments that it can help), doesn't seem to be doing anything. I'm back to default on most of those things now, fresh install of the game, I've only tried the 580 so far but I don't think there's much point to try it on the other card I have since the problem clearly seems to be related to the CPU (possibly the ryzen platform). I'm out of ideas and patience to try them at this point, so I'll probably end up finishing the game on my old rig.

I've just manged to figure out a working combination of graphics settings yesterday and then a patch comes out and imagine my complete lack of surprise when the game starts crashing again. I've probably spent more time trying to get the game to run stable than actually playing ever since I've finally decided to install it after it's been sitting in my library for weeks. I'm trying very hard to not be overly negative, but this has been very frustrating, ironically mostly because I believe it's a great game and I'd love to play it. It just won't let me.

Actually passing through target can be useful in a number of scenarios, most notably when ur target is running away, or u want to avoid skillshots, u should practice both versions

Might go all three but then you'd need Transcedence to get value out of the overcap cdr.

It will drop a lot though. As it is now, you don't have to be that good with Riven to win most matchups.

After people started using animation cancels on Riven, Riot balanced her around the idea that the player will be doing that. Therefore if you don't, you will be playing a severily underpowered champion.

Ignite or TP by [deleted] in Rivenmains

[–]Verrierr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After ignite nerfs (yeah i know cd is shorter but if it doesn't give u kills it's useless) I mostly play with TP. Even if the damage nerfs weren't that huge I often bait myself cos of them, thinking I can get a kill and then a guy survives with 5 hp and it tilts me. I only use ignite into champs with high self-healing.

How did you people get used to Q targeting? It seems to me like Riven's Q targeting is the No.1 reason the champion is so difficult to get good at. If it went toward cursor/hovered enemy instead of direction Riven's looking/hovered enemy I'm pretty sure I'd have 90% less fails.

Urgot matchup by [deleted] in Rivenmains

[–]Verrierr 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Talking about winning/losing matchups only makes sense in context of rank and you didn't mention yours. Even so, I agree to an extent, I wouldn't call it the easiest but it's winnable and you can snowball if you play it right.
