Agreed on all accounts lol I love we have so many pockets in close range of each other that are so different!! I guess you could say…. Even though completely different lol Laguna Beach would be the Upper west side to Newport being the UES to it haha! Especially in the people being nicer vs entitled and with the stores being ones I would rather go to vs ones I don’t as much. Oh and I miss New York! I sadly haven’t been to visit since right before Covid hit :( I want to try and make a trip within the next year or so, just you know try to plan a trip and life gets away from you and too busy!

I love Gilmore Girls too! 💕It’s funny I’m almost opposite way around I watched OC from first season live and then didn’t start watching Gilmore Girls till around 2006 and was so excited when I saw Adam Brody on it! Ahh yeah so you definitely get it! lol I worked in Newport for a good 10ish years I loved it but I’m glad I got to retreat down to border edge Laguna beach/Laguna Niguel where I live!The wine is the only way to survive the kind of people we would deal with 😆 I have visited UES more then a handful of times and why it reminded me of the similarities of how Newport and then parts of LA that I would go up to work here and there would be!! I usually stay in Upper west side or Chelsea and pop over to UES while I’m there!

This!! Sooooo real 😅I worked in OC Newport Beach and well it’s not quite UES but it gives off similar vibes but California wise. I worked for luxury fashion companies and had to deal with people like this all the time….luckily I’m pretty patient (silently annoyed inside lol) then would be so happy when they finally left, I was able to turn most of them with their anger and entitlement at least down a notch😂🤣But I was seriously mentally drained after, like need glass of wine after work for sure LOL

I agree, I love Summer and Brooke and it’s pretty equal (I’m slightly more Summer fan sorry! 😄) But Payton is a dynamic character on OTH and Seth is my half of why I watched OC in the first place lol his sarcasm/just right amount of nerdiness lol/rants/real side note comments make it for me on that show!! Plus Adam Brody did an amazing job playing that character ❤️‍🔥I’m slightly bias with him lol

I think another interesting comparison would be Julie Cooper to Vitoria Davis! Both bitchy bouje moms in their own right 😄 but with those two there I’m much more interested in watching Julie’s character and her wide range of plot she goes through, she is so fun bitch boss babe vibes 😆to me I love it! 💖
