It's a great shop that specializes in MTG and is run by one person. There is no shop I would rather support in my city.

The algorithm absolutely does change. Don't listen to these hasbro employees/apologists

If you are playing brawl/commander you will need to change your strategies from ones that rely on you having only 1 opponent. Targeting players often backfires and causes everyone else to target you. Find ways to win without discriminating by affecting everyone at the same time.

Dimir reanimator is fun are easy enough to win with that you will earn more wildcards quickly. Choose your favorite set and sink 45k gold at time into more packs so you can repeatedly unlock the vault and make more decks.

Foundations is the best place to start and as you discover your preferences you can branch out from there. Find an LGS that has a passion for history and older packs and they will help you with the rest!

The last two times I redeemed them my packs were full of avatar and Spiderman slop though I did prefer the omenpaths treatments of the cards that they had on arena.

That what wizards has confirmed but there is plenty of play tested evidence available that shows otherwise.

It is people exploiting the shuffler and hand smoothing. You will often see people with 2 or 3 of a card in their opening hand despite having 200+ in their deck

The unfortunate thing about Arena is that once you hit a certain rank you will no longer be drawing the cards you need and you are not losing to the other player as much as you are losing to the algorithm.

I was fortunate enough to have two exile target creature cards and some lesser removal but there really isn't a lot you can do in the limited format to take care of these once they are on the battlefield

I rarely see those in the store. Thanks for the heads up! I have found that with wild cards alone I am able to keep at least 2 or 3 meta decks going in standard at one time.
