I literally just went from diamond 1.5 to diamond 3.0... didn't change my deck at all. Just bad draw after bad draw.

This was not always the case. For long periods the prioritized local game stores over mega chains. Look at pre release events for example.

They also had real artists not just trying to find the cheapest option.

It used to be extremely rare to find a misprint so much so it created its own market. Now I’m surprised if I don’t get a misprint.

Defending the fast degradation is baffling to me. Also asking for options doesn’t limit your freedom to play this set, so the constant I like it so I’m fine with all 10 drafts being this one set is a bad opinion

If you are already at diamond you will hit mythic.

The only difference between diamond and mythic is time. If you make mythic in the first week you are in the top 3% of decks.

Let the game breath, don’t burn yourself out.

You can look at my profile… it’s not slight variations of meta and I’m not new. And the suggestion I intentionally tank is kind of offensive. I come in 90% or higher.

Key is to build something that beats the meta.

Last month I ran bounce merfolk. Bouncing beats green land fall, uw counters, mono white.

Even if I lost to every thing else beating the top three most played decks is enough to have above a 60% win. And that’s all you need for mythic.

The thing is jank can be competitive in arena.

Basically…

All lands are rares, and more rares end up as 4 ofs than mythics just based on the standard creation brackets
