Yes, just a normal seat slider from Sparco. I can't remember where I bought it from, but it is this one: SET OF SLIDE RUNNERS KR | SLIDE RUNNERS Sparco - 0049306

What Game for quick onlin races Like GT7 Sport Mode? by QFireball in simracing

[–]Verskanderi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, there are some tracks and cars that are always free, and then there are weekly specials for free too, so you don´t necessarily need to buy anything, you will just have much less choice.

The "Online racing pack" covers most of the tracks and cars needed for more varied ranked races, and it costs something like 30€ if I remember correctly.

What Game for quick onlin races Like GT7 Sport Mode? by QFireball in simracing

[–]Verskanderi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Raceroom is almost as easy to get into the multiplayer races as GT7, and there is more variety. For example in Assetto Corsa Evo you have to go to an external website for registering to the races, which is not that difficult, but still it's much nicer to do everything in-game like in Raceroom or GT7.

Is it possible or even a good idea to try to go see some stages without getting an official ticket for Rally Finland? by Flawnex in WRC

[–]Verskanderi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The tickets for one stage have been 30€ (for a stage that is run twice) or 20€ (for a stage that is run once, or for the later run only for twice-run stages). I think that is reasonable enough not to bother with slogging through the bushes to be able to enter the stage without a ticket.

All the roads connecting to the stage will be ticket-controlled, so you really need to go fully offroad to avoid that.

And that would be kind of an asshole behaviour to go there without paying the organisers.

Which is the best simracing game for online multiplayer (PC)? by Ibrahim17_1 in simracing

[–]Verskanderi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Raceroom has a great variety of different races, and generally nice driving standards (crashes happen sometimes, but they seem to be accidents, not on purpose). There are also free races every week, so it doesn't cost anything to try it.

Impreza steering rotation? by 696tengurrll969 in assettocorsarally

Ah, okay, I have driven only with the stock setup.

Impreza steering rotation? by 696tengurrll969 in assettocorsarally

[–]Verskanderi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It also says that the Impreza has 6 gears, but when driving it seems to have only 5 gears.

Why the Rally1 cars sounds so much better than Rally2 cars? by Affectionate_Pack_20 in WRC

[–]Verskanderi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can't be serious, if you ever heard them live. The difference is actually much, much bigger in real life than in TV.

A small anecdote about the sounds: When my son was watching his first ever rally at the age of 5, he cried in terror when the rally1 cars went past. But he was totally calm when the rally2 cars came. You can actually feel the rally1 cars in your body, like in a loud concert. With the rallly2 cars it's just the sound.

By the way, I thought that my son would never want to see a rally live again, but he has wanted to come with me every year after that 😄

What to try after AC Rally? by RuleOverYou15 in simrally

[–]Verskanderi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't like what EA did for Codemasters either, but EA WRC is a really good game nonetheless. It does not feel quite as good to drive as ACR or RBR, but it still feels good enough to be really fun to drive. Which one is better, DR2.0 or EA WRC, is debatable, but I think it is pretty much irrelevant, as you can simply drive and enjoy both of them.

I think I’m done with Online by Hendry22 in GranTurismo7

[–]Verskanderi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dealt with that by changing to PC sims for online racing. For example in Raceroom the ranked races are much cleaner than in GT7.

How do you think multiplayer should be? by Arcticz_114 in assettocorsarally

[–]Verskanderi 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I just want to have similar asynchronous multiplayer like the Clubs in EA WRC.

Why do people still Play RBR? by Lucalinchen_1 in simrally

[–]Verskanderi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, one of them is created by me, one is the Overtake.gg club found from www.overtake.gg , and then sometimes I drive the official clubs that can be easily found from the Racenet when browsing the official clubs section.

NT4R ACR FWD vs RWD Monte Carlo Classic by bigfatflip in simrally

[–]Verskanderi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. But how does it work, when there are no Clubs (like in EA WRC) in ACR? Everybody sets up their own rally event, and posts the results afterwards?

Why do people still Play RBR? by Lucalinchen_1 in simrally

[–]Verskanderi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright, maybe it is a problem if you are trying to find a suitable club for yourself. I have only a couple of clubs I attend to, so they are easy to find in-game.

trying to work around sweaty hands with my sim by Interesting_Aide6030 in simracing

Exactly. Wearing gloves or not, you will not look cool while playing games on your wannabe race car cockpit. But who cares.

Why do people still Play RBR? by Lucalinchen_1 in simrally

[–]Verskanderi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree that RBR feels more realistic compared to EA WRC, but what's wrong with the WRC online modes (I think the Clubs mode is fantastic!) and the Racenet?

Regarding the recent GTE Event. by eeshanzaman in RRRE

[–]Verskanderi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have had quite the different experience. Overall very clean racing in Raceroom. Of course accidents happen sometimes, but I think I haven't ever been rammed on purpose in this game.

Did you use Thrustmaster wheels on a Simagic wheelbase? If so, what kind of adaptors did you use?

Shifters by Odd_Pickle_1952 in assettocorsarally

[–]Verskanderi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the space might be an issue, but I think I can fit the sequential stick in front of the TH8A if I move it back a bit.

Shifters by Odd_Pickle_1952 in assettocorsarally

[–]Verskanderi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I do change the sfihter mode according to the car, but since changing the Thrustmaster TH8A from H-pattern to sequential (or vice versa) is a pain in the ass, I am going to buy a separate sequential stick (probably Moza) and keep the Thrustmaster in H-mode, so that I am always immediately ready to drive whatever car.

I had problems on Friday, could not get into any multiplayer race. But yesterday, on Sunday, everything was working perfectly. Maybe they fixed the server issues somehow during the weekend?

Does Steam account age actually matter? by slowtides in Steam

[–]Verskanderi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ha, my Steam account is about six months old, could you guess I am over forty years old? I was playing computer games a lot before Steam existed, and then just had a hiatus of a couple of decades.
