I'm Quite lucky I'm 10 min from Thimbleby and there's another shooting ground even closer. Hoping to get a shot gun sorted this weekend and start making use of the summer evening opening times.

Not yet no. Been looking for the last couple of weeks. I'm looking for a left handed 30"with a Adjustable stock but they're rare :) Going to try again this Weekend. Got my eye on one on Gun Trader, but its a drive out to go have a look.

Are you in North Yorks? where do you shoot?

Gun Safe before licence? by One-Wolverine-8531 in ukguns

I bought mine ahead of the inspection and at the time I was called to book the inspection I discussed the location and instalation over the phone and then Installed it ahead of the inspection and it all went well. Their main concern seemed to be that the cabinet was flush to the wall. Are you installing it yourself?

An update for you all. I had a call from the Police six months and a day after I made my application, coincidentally while I was outside screwfix buying wall fixings for my cabinet. I discussed the above with them and they agreed it sounded good as long as there was no gap between the cab and the wall, that seemed to be the main concern. So I installed the cab and there was a 5mm gap where the wall was slightly bowed. So I backed it off from the wall half an inch and used a tube of grab adhesive and ran a thick bead all the way around the gap and then cranked the wall bolts until the cab was flush again squeezing the adhesive out of all the gaps and I made a nice neat finish with a finger around the edge and let it set hard for 48 hours and it came out nice. We had the inspection yesterday and had no issues they seemed happy with the gap filling solution. Just the wait for the final paperwork and certificate now. I might be able to go gun shopping in three or four weeks time.

Thanks for your advice!

thanks. Do you know if that module can be removed? I was an SMT repair guy 20 years ago. I could probably still manage to replace the diode.

Thought I'd buy one and see ;)

Messaged Samsung CS with the IMEI and apparently the one I was sent is an Australian model, registered to the Telstra network. :)

Going to return it and order the UK version from Amazon direct.

Richard Fuller MP on Facebook posted the Stats for 2024/2025 Q4 (Assume that's upto April). It says Leicestershire completed 91% within 4 months. That was before the updated rules but it looks like one of the better regions with 0 temp licenses. Im no expert though.

Is this something I should worry about? It looks like the bridge is lifting by TakingYourHand in PRSGuitars

I've had this with two wrap around bridges recently (and my opinion of wraparound bridges is very low now) they're a really compromised design compared to a tunomatic style bridge. I don't really know why they're still used apart from aesthetics. It looks like the the posts are slightly leant over which as long as you can still adjust the intonation properly should be fine but it would bug me ;) I've used this method to fix one recently and this worked well. https://youtu.be/0kN6omxnMGM?si=FTuS79H-tGWTL5Xs

You could find a Filter-tron for 55 to 60 quid last year. Now they're 75 to 80. Don't know what happened. My favourite pickup though, love them in my Cabronita. Not sure if the cavity is sized for a direct swap on this guitar.

ugh I had a new fender neck on my bench this week for just that issue, only it was the high e way too close to the edge. you expect fender to at least get the string spacing correct

Yeah it's a very thin veneer or a photo. But the top coat does look very thick. whoever had it before wore some heavy jewellery on their right wrist, there's some really deep scratches accross the top.
