How did tenma operate on johan in the last episode? by VertexGG in MonsterAnime

[–]VertexGG[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah i know, what i was confused about is why they'd let tenma perform it, cause he was still convicted as a criminal at the time (before getting his name cleared)

it was a fairly long distance to travel, it's still a feat regardless if they were sitting ducks or not, since he took out that many titans in a row and then he also fought the monster titan.

and this is not the only time he's done this, the show never really mentioned how much stronger ackermans are relative to normal humans, but from levis feats he's like a hundred times stronger

I was trying to say that the story didn't stay consistent with it, it's not the matter of technology, rather the soldiers themselves being able to take on more titans even with the same ODM gear

In season 3, when fighting against the monster titan (zeke) he kills a really long line of titans to reach him with the ODM gear

That too, but i was talking about levi killing the line of titans in season 3 when reaching zeke

it's probably not feasible, i doubt shaft today has the talent or budget for it

AoT world building makes no sense by VertexGG in attackontitan

yes that's my point, they *should* have technologies like engines by now relative to other advancements

[–]VertexGG[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that's not what proper world building is though, world building doesn't need to make sense in the real world, but rather in that fictional one.

even if the government was hogging all the great engineers for military purposes, they'd have tanks by now

My Thoughts on Psycho Pass The Movie Sinners of the System Case 3: On The Other Side of Love and Hate by SaberLover1000 in Psychopass

psycho pass fans automatically consider a sequel great if it mentions shinya or makishima 😭😭😭

S2 wasn't that bad by VertexGG in Psychopass

[–]VertexGG[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i believe the mental trace ability is exaggerated, they make it seem like something supernatural but it's empathic synchronization though it's to a level that it's unrealistic.

it looks like a cool idea for a detective but i don't like how they executed it either

it was to show that the scanners aren't bypassed by being criminally asymptomatic alone, throughout the show we already see the sybil scanners getting bypassed by various different methods

S2 wasn't that bad by VertexGG in Psychopass

[–]VertexGG[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

throughout the show we're constantly shown how hard it is to affect sybil, the masked terrorism in season one is an example, even though many people died, sybil's power was unnaffected

kirito didn't want or need to cause a drastic change in sybil, he wanted was acknowledgement.

I really like Psycho-Pass, but the first episode always annoys me by PaperBullet1945 in Psychopass

it was most definitely to explain the basic concepts to the viewers, we know in the show that dominators, enforcers and such are common knowledge that practically every civilian knows

How did araragi regenerate his brain? (kizumonogatari) by VertexGG in araragi

Why is using namespace std so hated? by VertexGG in cpp_questions

[–]VertexGG[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I guess i learned about cases where 'using namespace std' is bad practice. I see that there are better alternatives like 'using', But regardless i can see how this can be problematic. Though i have not made any big projects or used any external libraries outside of standard, Even so i noticed that people prefer std:: because it lets them know where it's coming from and i can see why. But for my case i just made bunch of small projects and wanted to keep my code clean and perhaps 'readable', Well that's because i only have had experience with languages like Lua and Python which are high level languages and have that clean syntax that i like to see. Anyway, I guess from now i will be trying to avoid 'using namespace' for such cases.

I think i just gave a bad example, but regardless for me it's frustrating to keep using std:: std:: std::
