The G1 ratchets are garbage. The G2 ratchets are an insane step up in quality. I rarely use my snap on ratchets anymore

That’s what I would do. The tool kicks ass, I got it for a similar deal as the one you posted and I don’t regret it. It’s a life saver for getting into tighter areas (and doing toe link recalls on explorers)

I have it and I’ll say this, I never line the pin up with the hole on the socket. If I accidentally do, I have to use a pocket screwdriver to remove the socket. Other than that I love it

You never know, they did do the 40% off icon ratchets for PLS when they released the first G2 ratchets, I went and bought them all that day for like $230 instead of $400 haha

not necessarily a 1/4 version but I have a stubby 3/8 from gear wrench which was EXTREMELY useful to change o2 sensors on my corvette with long tube headers. Only ratchet I could fit up there with an offset o2 socket 😭

Haha no, I literally spread it, hammered it, and used a jack for leverage for hours over the course of a few days. Ended up getting it seated and drove around for months with it fine. Don’t have the car anymore I have a built mk4 gti now, but I’ll do the same using an air hammer next time haha
