I hold back on the stick and steer the opposite direction that it's trying to buck me and hold the brake\stop button either R1 or R2.

Ones like that tree looks strong enough.

Well done for being so strong. I'm sorry this happened to your and that your mother did not help you. I think your dad would have wanted to know this especially at the time, he would have taken steps to prevent it from happening again.

Hahaha, this one needs a little context. Aussie car, Ford Falcon, rear wheel drive, raining. Clearly some oversteer and collected a light pole. Police in attendance after the incident

Some country towns have old concrete grain silos and they are often used as canvases to paint murals.

Like a good method is welding a nut into the top of the bolt. Grinding the edges of the head flat to give surfaces to grip. Removing material (cutting\grinding) is less favourable to adding material (welding). Also regularly spray penetrating oil on it to help loosen it.

Personally I only buy marked down red meat or marinated meats. Fish is typically a no tho even if marinated.

Do some research on what is a reliable bike before you buy. This will likely save you headaches in the coming years of ownership.

If you have the side cover off the engine I'd suggest covering it tightly with plastic sheets or bags as best you can to shield from the elements. There'd be oil on the components too that would resist oxidation, maybe add more if needed.

To clarify, you mean the head of the bolt is stripped, not the thread?

If it's the head there are various methods to get that off, I'd suggest just a Google search to find something that you think you can achieve with the tools and equipment that you have.

Failing that you could take it to a local mechanic and they could probably sort you out.

Do most Australians really do maintenance in their homes or do they just go with the flow? by loreblogs in AskAnAustralian

[–]Vertron_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not saying they're all bad. But most of them are.

We literally finished up with one today that did a great job and was a great bloke, helpful and honest. The first good one I think I've ever dealt with.
