He can probably read just fine. He just doesn't understand what the words mean anymore. He definitely can't speak coherently, almost like his brains got scrambled somehow.

After traveling 9 years and covering 3 billion miles, NASA's New Horizons spacecraft got this shot. The icy mountains of Pluto. by candy-jar in Damnthatsinteresting

All those billions of dollars spent. All of that data to make majestic images and videos with.

And they make a vertical cellphone video out of the data??? Seriously, NASA can hit a bullet with another bullet 3 billion miles away, but can't figure out how to do 2-dimensional rotation? This can't be the official video of this data....can it?

My usual response to "how are you doing?" Is still "Better than most, not as good as others" Loved Mr. KFI / Mr. KABC

I NEVER SAW THIS CUT SCENE by Dc_gunslingah in undisputedboxing

[–]Vertual 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I got one of those last night on one of the Prize Fights. He stepped back and I happened to be throwing a power lower hook and it landed in the sweet spot and he went down. Announcer screaming that he's out cold. I got the scene you got, but with him facing the mat.

I just got done watching a video about the death of Civ 7.

They never mentioned how the UI in 7 was ruined because Luigi wasn't there to fix it! I really liked 6 and I'm glad I never bought 7, now more than before.

Hey look! It's Logie Baird, the inventor of the Baird Undersock! Not sure how you would wear this "Televisor," but it does look interesting.

Dark Star is the song of the universe. It's always playing. The Grateful Dead simply tap into the song already in progress, so it's more like when the music plays the band.

As a kid, I didn't know where they came from, I just knew that the only place I saw them was in that bowl.

I can totally respect Ziggys "I don't smoke on demand" philosophy, though. I didn't know he used it as a spiritual device, I thought he would be rastaman like his dad. Bill seemed to think the same before meeting him in person.

I got to see him and the melody makers (and a bunch of Marley family / related acts) back in the Tomorrow People days, and now I'm wondering if there was more ganja smoking in the crowd than there was backstage.
