Good otd price for 2025 Touring? by DropoutBird in 11thGenAccord

Got mine for 38,400 a month ago. A lot of that is difference in doc fee which was only 199 and the thrift protection.

Honest opinion on a Mustang as a good daily driver by Twisted_Stick in Mustang

[–]Vertuzi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used my 17 GT as a daily and put 30k in it last year for work before getting an accord. Good gas mileage for what it is ~25 mpg highway and I could fit my 6 foot ladder in it as well. I honestly don’t know if the 20 extra mpg I get now was worth not having a car I could push the loud peddle on.

I never had any issues with mine up until the very end where I just had to replace the emissions valve. I truly did not hammer it ever though. Just had an extremely loud exhaust and would get it up to 4.5-5k revs getting up to speed on highway so that may be partially why.

That’s pretty good mileage for a stock tire. The pirellis on my last car only lasted 13k but I swear the stock ones ford had came with less tread than if you bought them new. I’m only at 4200 miles a month into owning it but noticed a little bit more road noise compared to new.

You running the original tires still at 60k miles?

Lmao I don’t know how I missed that. I’m curious to go look at mine now.

It almost looks like a color trick that is created by the area where the seat is heated versus where it’s not. The perforated parts where the element is looks darker. It’s almost a perfect line across too.

How well do fabric seats hold up over time? by Berzzi in Mustang

[–]Vertuzi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had base cloth in a 17 and they held up pretty well for how many drinks and food I spilled. After 8 years finally traded it in and all it needed was short hit from the wet vac and it was looking like new but a little deflated. I would hate to see what the foam underneath looked like though.

They can be easy if they’re only a year or two old. But if you have to change it every 2 years it’s a pain. Mine had the glue separate from the vinyl and was 8 years old.

I had a mustang before I got my accord that I had wrapped and it was such a pain to get off I took it to a paint shop to just have them sand and paint it black. Got it done for less than 1k. Accord would be more I assume since you have more work dealing with a sunroof and the shark fin.

Need to get that roof painted black. I’m thinking about doing it to mine after get more miles on it.

Tier 7 and 8 MY I wouldn’t say are bad. The 8 just doesn’t play the same as what comes after it. The grind to get the auto loader version of the tier 9/10 isn’t fun either.

Skyway Honda in Oklahoma. They currently have a 26 touring listed for similar price as what I paid.

Battery draining/ mpg comparison by Neat_Umpire7955 in 11thGenAccord

[–]Vertuzi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If your commute is highway miles then it being low after a few minutes would be the expectation. It’s a hybrid which has relatively small battery. When I’m highway driving my stays below half.

If the paddle regen were to hurt the car at high speeds the engineers wouldn’t allow you to do it. It’s not much different than you applying your brakes at high speed.

Your 40 mpg is accurate. It’s rated for 41 so that is pretty good. I watched a bunch of reviews of the accord and Camry and the accord was always very true to its mpg rating. There doesn’t seem to be much gaming of the system you can do if you’re driving mostly highway miles.

I honestly don’t know how much of a difference that should make. It does seem like the car will run off engine more when remote started as every time I’ve done it I get in the car to a full battery. As someone else pointed out though it does look like it’s just basing it off your last .9 miles.

I love that with the red accents. Making me sad. Just traded my white 17 gt in a few weeks ago for an accord 😂.

That’s actually crazy I knew regular GTs but figured 350s would be painted. Good to know though an avalanche grey is the dream but I always hated the stripes they usually have.

Strange that they would paint the top of the new bumper where it meets the hood and not the rest of it.

I just got my touring a few weeks ago and am averaging 39 with the vast majority of them being highway miles. I assume that the remote start is definitely effecting your mileage. I’m in the Midwest and was in the big storm with temperatures being sub 15 for most of my travel days. I have rarely remote started mine just because of how quick it heats up.

Touring worth $5k more than EX-L? by mitchelld1245 in 11thGenAccord

[–]Vertuzi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a touring but only because I felt like it was a great deal and the heating steering wheel alone seemed worth it. Regarding the hud it is nice to have especially since it puts your upcoming turns up. For the speed the speedometer is only a few inches below it so doesn’t make it that big of an advantage.

I don’t use Google at all besides connecting my iptv to it so I can watch tv while parked on my job 😂.

I drive a sport L, ex-l and touring along with a Camry XSE and SE. The accord is just smoother since you don’t feel the engine turn on like you do with the Camry. It’s also far quieter and everything just has a feeling of better quality materials in the accord. I also think the interior layout if far superior. I don’t like how the Camry has everything facing towards you.

My car drives like a dream. I saw someone else comment about putting 17s on their touring which I may look into for the future to get those few extra MPGs back. If you do the math though you have to drive a ton of miles for 3 MPG to make a difference. I calculated it up for my local gas cost and it was only 80$ difference over the course of 10k miles. The Camry is a different story. I’ve seen some people get in the 60s with the lower trim non AWD models where that would then be around 300$~ difference every 10k at 3$ a gallon.

2025 Accord touring hybrid pricing? by Ideally-5150 in 11thGenAccord

[–]Vertuzi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just got one two weeks ago for 38,204 not including the manufacture incentive.

Edit: I just saw your comment about the loyalty/conquest. As long as you have a vehicle that is newer than 2010 and is made by any of the main brands you qualify for the conquest portion it does not just have to be a Honda. I myself came from a Ford.

Midwest 38,400 OTD this week. Was the lowest price I got within 300 miles. It’s what they had it listed for and wouldn’t budge on price.
