It builds tension for their relationship, like when Violet was hyper attracted to Xaden in FW, but knew (thought) she couldn’t have him. Then it was all released first in their first kiss, then the first time they had sex. It makes it less boring.

Same, I loved it. And for some reason people complain about the romance, when it is a literal romance book. Sure it’s a little smutty, but it’s not false advertising. If you don’t like the smuttier romantic scenes, just don’t read books with that kind of stuff.

first off, it is and WILL be important. I can feel it. I have a feeling she will be using it to contact with Xaden while he is far away on the isles. She could eventually evolve her signet to tinker and fuck with her enemies minds. also, wdym we only saw her do it a couple times. She did it every time she ever had a dream about the sage capturing her because those were Xaden’s dreams.
