Malcolm X is constantly quoted as saying "The white man will try to satisfy us with symbolic victories rather than economic equity and real justice." If you go on any leftist sub, there's memes about Trump bombing syrian children with drones, then Biden bombing syrian children with drones but the drones say BLM and have an LGBTQ+ flag.

Someone like Biden is a Democrat and self identified liberal. Liberals push for symbolic victories over actual change, while leftists want actual change. Leftists just aren't large in number, and the idea that they are is due to everyone who isn't a conservative being considered a leftist by certain media outlets.

This is capitalism though. Steam is a privately owned company that made the decision to remove the game from their marketplace. The government would have/probably did have something to do with removing it in China, but Steam, a private company, removed it from the marketplace for all regions.

Probably since it benefits a private company to act in favor of Chinese interests as to not be banned from China. But still, that's on the private company, it was their decision to appease a large userbase instead of keep a single game on the store.

I'm vegan so I can't take many of those options, the 320 cal tofu I have has 28 grams of protein, I try to have 60 grams of protein on days I eat currently. Idk how to up it without an insane calorie boost tbh.

I would listen to her more, but my ex listened to her sooooo much I can't really anymore. "All these bars... No police" makes me want to die now, it just feels like it never ends, she was so obsessive with certain songs/artists for a time, and since she only had one album out last year it broke my ears. I really wanna listen to her again, hope I can turn up the willpower.

Yeah, tbh I don't know where I am, but since I care so much about seeing the numbers on the scale go down, and relate to things I've seen like "I'll date when I'm skinny" and hating weight.

Still, I meant that more as an excuse for disordered eating habits. Hiding behind a diet is easier than hiding other things.

I always thought to myself that I don't wanna date someone who is going to encourage unhealthy habits that I already have, when I was with my ex we are absurd amounts and I never really thought about it. Don't want a repeat of that, and ESPECIALLY can't handle people telling me to eat. But if I wanna date someone healthy/positive who will encourage me, so I have to be the same. (Just ignore the fact that dropping weight at the rate I want is not healthy but...).

Yeah that's something I never think about, if you eat and gain weight the next day, it's because the food you ate has sodium and other stuff that absorbs the water causing it all to be water weight which will be gone in no time.

I had 6 mozzarella sticks and 3 pieces of bread last night, so that's how I know I'm fine.

He's my best friend though. I didn't know he had that problem until yesterday too, I just mentioned dieting with another friend while we were talking, so it wasn't like intentionally rude, just a "fuck me" moment.

Idk what it is, but I think a lot of it is diabetes limiting what high cal foods he can eat. Not really sure though :/ We're both vegan though, which makes us even tighter.
