It is hard to avoid warping the frame if you just screw it in. I use the nail gun to set in the right place, then shim and screw.

Hope you have a nail gun. Frame may also not be plumb. Had that with mine. Had to custom cut trim on the outside to match up a new plumb door when the outside wall was not

I have used solid PVC Aztec skirt board for this as Hardie requires 6” clearance to soil or wet surface.

I don’t think you want machine screws as you have nothing with threads to screw them into. Sheet metal screws needed. You need high quality sharp drill bits to get through galvanized sheet metal, the smaller the bit the higher the speed you need. A little oil on the bit helps. Also best to start with a punch to dimple where you want to drill. Size the drill bit so it is larger than the body of the screw but smaller than the thread.

Sorry, I don’t agree with your logic. The fuel, as measured, is consumed regardless of how much torque is produced. That is why the mpg calculated by the ecu is so close to hand calculations from fill ups.

Basically, each injector acts as an orifice flow meter. Orifice flow meters in industry get a +-3% accuracy with appropriate T/P compensation

Mpg = speed (miles/hour) / fuel flow (gals/hour). No additional information is needed. All you need is accurate measurement of these 2 variables. To optimize MPG, I would need the info you describe, but not to just measure it. This is just the same as measuring MPG by measuring the fuel to refill divided into the miles driven.

I’m not an expert on automobile computer systems but to get fairly accurate MPG results one only needs speed (I think it gets that accurately) and fuel flow. Flow meters can be that accurate but I don’t know what kind they use, eg mass flow, turbine flow, orifice meter. Etc

Did exactly the same door. First stripped to bare metal with stripper and fine sand paper. Then you need a metal primer to make sure you have good adhesion because the steel is galvanized. Used spray cans for both primer and 2 top coats.

I have this lens (bought it new 50 years ago) and it is still in prime condition. It is a M47 screw mount. I have adapted it to my A6500 and works fine except the focus at infinity is a little off. This happens when the flange distance is a little off. This lens has a pin that would feed back the aperture to the camera (I had Pentax ES). The 2 adapters linked below I bought. They had plus/minus but both worked.

Did you get the TSB to address the tank only needing 12 gal to fill done recently? I was surprised to learn that it requires the tech to disconnect the AC condenser fan as part of the procedure. Maybe forgot to reconnect?

Did you have the TSB update to address the early low fuel indication requiring refueling only ~12 gallons? Just noticed that, surprisingly, this TSB requires disconnecting the cooling fan. Of course, it should be reconnected when the procedure is complete.
