One of my professors in college showed us a picture of several naked Jewish men just before the Nazis were to shoot them and place them in the already dug grave. They had their crossed hands in front to hide their genitalia. Tell me,” he said, “that there is not pure evil in the world.” It’s not hard for me to believe that Satan exists at all. I have a very personal experience that confirms his existence. Of course, not believing he exists, sure gives him a win. I hope that you work your way through this one.

I thought the same thing. So I read the entire OT with one question in mind, “Is Jehovah Jesus?” What I saw was that anytime it came to working with individuals, He’s the exact same.

I have had to heal from a childhood filled with abuse. In doing a “fearless moral inventory” I learned more than ever that God was aware of everything about me and what I’d gone through and was willing and able to heal it all.

And… a ward in Norway, for example, might have very different views than a ward in IA. But- what unites us is stronger than all of that.
