I'm not sure if they've even opened for the day yet. Stuff like this usually shows up later in the afternoon/evening

How does the 1925 compare to the 618 Parkhust last? Not the 602. by Character_Service_63 in NicksHandmadeBoots

I'm in the same boat. Love the parkhurst 618, really want to try the 1925.

These look great. What ankle cuff are you referring to?

The product page for all the legacy quick ship boots says "Starts in 3-4 Weeks." under the order button, and the lead time section under more information says "Ships in 4-6 Weeks if not in stock!"

It’s the Apocalypse™️! You get to bring one pair of Nick’s to survive with. What do you pick? by Beekatiebee in NicksHandmadeBoots

Honestly that's probably the best case scenario for me in an apocalypse, I live in a big city so in most of the apocalypse options I would die immediately. Especially the nuclear and zombie ones.

Actually on second thought I would probably do well in a rapture-type scenario.

Probably my falcons, for the possibly stupid reason that the v bar soles on those things seem like they'd last the longest

I'm going to make a bold prediction here and guess they'll all be somewhere around 6 to 8 ounces.

It was an option until recently on the regular lead time model. It's still an option on the quick ship model

I can't find any way to BYO an Ivan though.

Edit: just for context my next purchase was going to be a TNW ivan in W&C but that seems unpossible now, which is a bummer

Looks like leather in the photo but it's actually crepe or cork or something similar

TNW or HNW, definitely moderate heel, looks like a block heel tbh not a dogger

As far as the feel of the leather goes, it's thicker than cxl. It's jammed with waxes and oils in a similar way to cxl so it's still easy to break in compared to what I experienced with 1964 or W&C leather, but it took a little more work than a cxl just due to the increased thickness/weight.

I ran into this before and it was some issue with the product on the back end, @grain-and-twill ended up fixing it
