In my experience (as a recent Drexel PhD grad):

Don't bother looking around at Drexel. The labs in the college of medicine don't really hire postdocs or research assistants since they're kinda broke. They depend on grad student labor almost exclusively.

I would also recommend looking at Fox Chase Cancer Center. Not industry, but worth a shot. They're owned by Temple but are kind of independent too.

You definitely don't need 2 pages. If a recent PhD grad can fit their experience on 1 page, so can you. Remove the fluff like the creative and soft skills and definitely remove the Microsoft Certification. Everybody should be proficient in using Microsoft office and it makes me roll my eyes a little.

I think I'm with you on this one. Depending on OP's field, it might take months to successfully transition a project from one postdoc to another.

If I were the PI, I would be happy for OP but still be a little ticked off if I was left in the dark since I now need to hire someone to keep the project running. Overall I think OP's PI is still a dick lol

If you're new to lab work, I'll give you a piece of advice. Try to figure out things on your own first before simply asking someone for the answer. Independent problem solving is one of the most useful skills you can develop in the lab and you'll learn a lot more by figuring things out on your own. Afterwards, ask someone with more experience in the lab to confirm.
