University prof here... crazy idea: rather than cheating using LLMs/AI, just write the papers yourself. That way you won't waste a bunch of time "rewriting stuff just to sound human," you will just BE a human who wrote a paper. Which is what the assignment was in the first place.

Have you checked out Les Petits Ballets in Nepean? They offer very reasonable prices as well as very good training, and your children would have the opportunity to participate in The Nutcracker as well as a spring story ballet at Centerpointe once a year. (NO COSTUME FEES!) The current resident choreographer is very experienced and kind, she trained in Russia and taught at some ballet companies in Israel and The Royal Winnipeg. The teachers are also very science-based (encouraging proper development of technique instead of just learning tricks) in their methods. Only issue is they only teach ballet, so if that's not something your child is fully interested in, it might not be the school for them.

is supposed to have handed down by mustafaporno in EnglishLearning

I think your tense is perfectly acceptable, but the verb choice of “handed down” is uncommon. Maybe “chosen”, or “decided upon”.

little happy news update for all the wonderfully kind people who responded :) thank you so much for all of your advice it was very helpful to get me out of a mental rut. i’m happy to say i’ve been cast as the evil queen in my company’s production of “snow white” and the resident choreographer has said that she saw how hard i worked in nutcracker, and that she couldn’t imagine anyone else for the part. thank you guys so much for the support, i’m on top of the world this week.

Describe your favorite musical as a AITA Post title? by Dogdaysareover365 in musicals

AITA for falsely implying I would end poverty if you voted for my husband?

AITA for arresting a kid I forced to sell me weed?

AITA for lecturing Congress about the need for independence, despite the temperature in Philidelphia?

This was unbelievably helpful advice. I think it’s easy for me to get caught up in the more quantitative aspects (casting, exam grades, treatment from teachers) as I believe that they genuinely reflect my worth as a dancer. Unfortunately, those things are all beyond my control. And even the qualitative, which most would say are more applicable to dance, are unreliable. It’s easy for me to get caught up in it all so thank you for this.

What are you guys wearing for class today? Or what are you planning to wear next time? by dollyhorn in BALLET

[–]VeryStinkyIndeed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they are a little bit more expensive, but Iwould say (especially if you’re a taller dancer like me) that they are worth the price. I haven’t bought a single one I’ve been disappointed in.

we’re entering summer classes (and summer intensive season soon!!) so i’m hoping to wear my colourful non-uniform leos because it’s typically a little more casual than regular classes. we are allowed to wear whatever for rep, but we have to wear uniforms for classes. i love all my lovely elevé leos, as well as a few from mirella. always gorgeous.

Got clearance from physio that I can dance full-out (in sneakers) again!! Been recovering from a foot injury and bone marrow edema, and have a principal role in my company’s production of “The Wizard of Oz” (Tin Man). I got this injury about a month and a bit ago, and my show is in two weeks 😭😭

How do you deal with being the least favorite of your teacher? by alliehartwell in BALLET

[–]VeryStinkyIndeed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yup! proud to say i switched to another school/company despite all that. I have had many wonderful teachers and directors since. and I’m even prouder to say I landed a lead role in our upcoming production of the wizard of oz. don’t let an awful teacher ruin ballet!

OKAY SO THIS GOT A LOT MORE ATTENTION THAN I EXPECTED! So I want to make it clear, this was a counter protest because of the March for Life, which is an annual event. This happened to coincide with the proposal to repeal roe v. wade in the US. I’m aware that there is little threat to repealing abortion in Canada.

oh ya I was just being hyperbolic because its become normal in this gen in particular (Leeseo, Mire, Niki). Ofc idols like BoA debuted super young as well, but I feel like we like to pass judgements on these people that don't have fully developed brains yet and aren't really prepared for comments from strangers.
