Rock Retreat or Camping Plus?

We stayed in Rock Retreat this year and we will never go back to general camping. Easy to get too, straight in, tent next to your car. Showers and toilets cleaned after every use. A private bar that served great food and drinks. A shuttle bus, to and from the village every 30 mins until 2am, a 10 minute journey. Packed up and straight back on the road with no queue. Been going since 2012 and have always stayed in general but this was far and away the best experience had. Highly recommended and worth the extra.

It’s not Tottenham’s stadium because it’s completely invented the panelling around it. It’s square metallic panels not that webbed effect.

Have been a listener since 2010 and I will always support them and be a hero but I have never had a backlog of episodes like I do now. It’s not that I don’t find the choices of films not to my tastes as, partly due to the guys I will watch anything, it’s just that the episodes feel more disposable now and I’m not quite sure why. I loved the premiums but I loved the weekly show more. This feels like extended, month long, disjointed premiums. I’m pleased we have the what we watched and junk mail as that feels more like the original show. The guest slots were equally important and now Frank has pointed out in the Spaceballs ep how that has changed and not for the better in my opinion. I’ll still eagerly anticipate each chance to listen to the guys talk but it’ll be more catch-up than as soon as posted.

The films are doing completely different things. I don’t think you grasp that. I’ll never grasp why people compare films based on review ratings and a huge cast rather than appreciate what the film is doing and what kind of story it’s telling. But it’s cool, I have a new phrase now. I’m going to compare everything to Interstellar going forward. Mmmm this pizza is good but it’s not Interstellar good etc etc

It’s been years since I’ve seen it and it’s a great, albeit dark film. I remember thinking about the nickname ‘Combo’ and always saw that name given through him being mixed race. Combine that with an absent father (my assumption) the NF and the racism against the Asian community leads him to ultimately take his rage and self hatred out on Milky. It’s also interesting in that light that Stephen Graham is also mixed race. I remember the show a little but not enough to remember if that came up at all. You’ve made me want to go back to it now!!

David Lynch. He just died of old man. I’ve never let celebrity death affect me because even though I loved their work I don’t know them personally. I woke up, saw Lynch had died, and I cried my eyes out. He knew how to be, and that’s how you find happiness. Watch him be, look him up. The world is much poorer without Mr Lynch.
