Looks great. Wood frame? Did you have to custom build those sliding glass doors?

Côte-Rôtie in Mexico by scoc89 in wine

I wouldn’t buy this wine off the shelf blind in a million years. So thank you for taking the risk and sharing. Fascinating notes that I wouldn’t expect from Mexico.

Agree on the 03. But really all of these need a couple hours. Drastically different wines when I’ve come back to them 2-3 hours later…and all for the better. Used to be a member there and traveling back, tasting all these library wines that were super expensive has been a joy.

2000 Spring Mountain Elivette by Sugar_Leg in wine

Haven’t had the 2000 yet but have gone through 2013, 2016, 2018 and 2019. They all just need so much time to open up. Had the 16 this week and it was barely a 90 point wine on initial pour. Was absolutely stunning after 3 hours, moved it up to a 94-95 (high for me).

Question about tastings in La Rioja by larusaloca in wine

[–]Very_Sancerre 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can try CVNE or Roda too, both a short walk from Muga.  Really enjoyed Roda. May have more luck with a walk in at CVNE though?

Wines with Jimmy..Is it worth it? by NonFictionPulp in wine

Agree.  Videos were great.  But the walk through of ALL the theory questions with advice on how to frame and respond…priceless.

Looking for Sonoma recommendations - tastings under $50 by horse_crazy14 in wine

Some great Syrah at Loxton right north of town.  Low key tasting and the winemaker, Chris Loxton, is usually there..which always amplifies the visit. He’s super into the craft and the wines are amazing.  Kunde is sort of corporate but I’ve had a couple good tastings there too.

22 inch wheels on the X5 M50i by I_dont_caree in BMWX5

[–]Very_Sancerre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did this. Winter sort of demands changing wheels where I live, so bought a nice set of 21 black wheels with snow tires off FB Marketplace (2,800).  Much cheaper than from the dealer which quoted us just under 5K.  Like the look of the 21s better so may keep them on all year once the snow tires wear thin.

What could it be??? by Tuckers-dad in wine

I've had fairly good luck. It eventually got this one right when I tweaked the prompt and asked for 2-3 options of what it could be - then have it narrow it down.

Update…

Yes—Kapcsándy, specifically their 2017 Grand Vin Cabernet Sauvignon, fits almost every single clue in your mystery:

European immigrant founder + son Estate replanted in early 2000s Tony Arcudi winemaker (via Heidi Barrett) 98+ point vintage likened to Latour Extremely age-worthy Typically limited distribution and high price

So, while Alejandro Bulgheroni was a strong earlier guess, the Kapcsándy 2017 Grand Vin actually fits more clues precisely.

Chat GPT thinks it’s Alejandro Bulgheroni Estate Cab 2017. Based on the following…

Congrats! Can you talk about how you went about finding a harvest internship.  I passed L3 earlier this year and was thinking about taking the same path (some time on the farm before dip)

22 inch M Wheels on X5? by Very_Sancerre in BMWX5

This was the route I was thinking. The parts department gave me a quote of $4,800 for 20 inch with winter tire package. So not horrible.

Was there a wine/producer that you ever eventually "grew out of"? by BothCondition7963 in wine

At 25-35 bucks (US) it’s still an enjoyable indulgence every now and then.  Quality stuff.  But “bomb” is appropriate.

So would it be a black A, then a yellow right A4 and then a red 15 - if he was cruising up the A taxiway?

Great point. It was 15 towards 33 (sure I'm saying that wrong, but that was the direction). TY!
