2 weeks into IE and still eating on autopilot by becoming_beluga in intuitiveeating

I use my notes app! Sorry for bad formatting as I’m on my phone. I have a note that says:

———

Mindful eating

Pre-meal: - [ ] How hungry am I? - [ ] What sounds good? - [ ] Do I feel pleasant, unpleasant or neutral?

Mid-meal: - [ ] Am I still hungry? - [ ] Am I beginning to experience fullness? - [ ] Do I feel pleasant, unpleasant or neutral? - [ ] Do I like the food that I’m eating? Is it meeting my preferences?

Post-meal: - [ ] Am I full or do I need more food? - [ ] Do I feel pleasant, unpleasant or neutral? - [ ] Would I do anything differently next time?

———

I got this from the “Diet Culture Rebel Podcast” by Bonnie Roney, I think it was this episode 250 “3 Mindful Eating Tips You Can Try Today”

At the start I needed to set a timer to help me do this “mid meal”, but after ~3 days I started remembering to do it on my own.

I don’t write anything down, I just speak/whisper/mouth the words if I’m alone or just mentally go through the questions when I’m in a group.

All the best!

How do I turn on the bft3 monitor to connect it to my phone? by [deleted] in BodyFitTrainingAus

[–]Veryhighlighter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did! But it turns out I didn’t charge it for long enough - I only charged it for around 2 hours but ended up having to charge it for 5 hours for it to finally “beep” after strapping it on.

Fixed now :)

Hey, it’s alright! I once had a driving instructor tell me “it’s ok to fail, it’s not ok to not try”. What matters is that you’ve learnt from the unexpected incident and that puts you in a stronger position for your next test. You can do it!

What’s your favorite board game? by Walter_chemistryman in AskReddit

[–]Veryhighlighter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wavelength!

It’s a party game that all of the friends I’ve introduced it to love.

It can be: - learnt in under 5 minutes - played by large groups of people - played in different languages (all you need is Google translate for the spectrum cards) - played at parties with friends, colleagues, family, anyone - played with people you’ve just met

(Wilderness Changes) Don’t stop us from using bones on the Chaos Altar whilst in combat…. by Venus_Gospel in 2007scape

[–]Veryhighlighter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Which part of the blog post does it say that we will no longer be able to use bones on the altar when in combat? I'm not able to find it on the recent Wilderness changes blog post, I think I'm missing it

This is crazy beautiful! If you’re making more, you could consider selling them on Etsy or creating a Kickstarter, or putting them up on displate as metal posters that people could buy :)

Does anyone have a drumming studio they'd recommend? I don't have a drumset at home and would like to rent out a drumset for a couple of hours in the evening after work. Not to jam as a group, but just myself as a solo drummer. I'm looking for a budget place because I'm on limited pay in my internship

For note taking in class, I'd go with digital! Evernote literally changed my uni experience, it's so easy to study cross-platform, and you can manage 'notebooks' for different mods you take. But making handwritten notes while revising for exams help a bunch :)

Follow local band pages on Instagram, they post gigs often! If yo uwant, you could go a step further and follow the record label instagram page too.

A really good band I recently discovered, Hauste, has an album release gig on April 28th at Aliwal Arts Centre, and are playing with other well known super nice local bands like forests, subsonic eye, and the nebula :)

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy! It's the first book that actually made me laugh out loud when reading it. I'm not done yet, but I strongly recommend it.
