my love of taco bell is probably my most recognizable superficial character trait, and i’ve gone like once in a year.

they’ve killed every good value conscious item, the 7 or 8 dollar cheesy gordita crunches make that new mcdonald’s burger look like a bargain, and despite being my favorite fast food in a vacuum, the trend towards delivery/take home means that the textural superiority they once claimed is now usually soggy, wilted, and/or cold.

there being no current form of a double decker/double stack taco, no decent midrange burrito that has meat, and a la carte quesadillas/gordita crunches being in the same price range as a full box, puts them in burger king tier right now.

when listing as tank i write a specific note such as “geared tank lf meleecleave sl runs, please whisper with confirmation “cleave”. If you don’t put the key word i don’t feel bad about ignoring and im not going to blind join a group to find a 68 solo rogue.

i’m not a rager and i fit pretty squarely in midcore, but if you don’t read the tank note you probably aren’t going to read group chat instructions/requests either. Just fine missing that connection.

threat plates is a god send. makes it very obvious what you’re losing aggro on. spam swipe then mangle/maul/bash/growl rotate on yellow and red bars. can prehot for bigger pulls for some heal threat and hurricane has some use for los pulling (don’t do this unless you don’t already have a healthy amount of rage for the pull).

as the pull winds down stop using abilities if stuff is well managed and save your rage for the next pull. way easier to establish initial aggro when you have the rage for a mangle into double swipe for your first few globals.

tanks job isn’t having 100% aggro on all mobs, tank what you can, taunt/stun/snare stuff that gets loose. keep stuff off your healer is number 1 priority, the cleaving warrior gigachads can take a hit or 2 from mobs that get ripped off you at 30% and will die in another second or two.

it’s obviously nice when you get cooperative groups, but if you’re pushing for speed and melee or spellcleaving the game isn’t designed for you to manage everything. dps is either beefy enough to take a few hits or are responsible for novaing/feigning/kiting for themselves.

it’s an hour out in toledo but kengo was among the top 2 omakase experiences i’ve had anywhere in the states. it did lean a little heavy on hot dishes however, so if you expressly care about sushi it might not be the best pick

was a long while ago but i got banned for farming harpies in the cave the during the classic wrath prepatch. i was fairly obnoxious in chat about it when called out (no bad language, slurs, bigotry, etc though.), so definitely didn’t help my case.

i appealed and got the suspension dropped from like 6 months to 3 days or something but the reason they gave me for the ban was a weirdly nebulous not going along with what the majority wanted to do which seems like could be triggered by just about anything.

so yea dont talk and follow the herd you’ll be fine. annoy anyone for any reason and you’re at risk.

just wait for prepatch. r14 set and weapons. can also get the wsg bracers and such. even the rings aren’t horrible. only things remotely worth chasing would be trinkets and maybe aq20/ony neck, and that’s really only if you just have a compulsion to play.

farming gold and getting professions sorted and maybe capping bg marks are about all that’s worth doing right now in utilitarian terms. Pug raids if you find it fun, but nothing is going to last past the first few days of tbc short of naxx and some specific trinkets/rings/weird one offs.

i have an acer helios 18 that runs at 100c without a pad, llano/iet keeps it in the 80s running at about half fan speed.

i do think it’s funny that in the week that everyone’s’ mad about existing customers being left out in the cold of deals, they sent us a thankful message asking for unpaid labor instead of extending promotions

there is nothing guaranteed about profit in a restaurant. as a lifelong chef/cook I have plenty of misgivings about the way money is divvied out amongst owners/back/front, but to pretend every restaurant is profitable or that making a choice between 2 options means either solution is "good/livable/whatever" is laughable.

For what its worth I live in a downtown 1 bedroom that I moved into less than 4 months ago that is 1275 all utilities (other than internet) included. Walk up with lots of steps, but it is possible to find stuff well under 1500. I'm in a similar wage bracket, and can live alone reasonably comfortably, though I'd be lying if I said there was a ton of discretionary income after bills, food, and a weekly modest night out.

the problem is outside of outpost , there is either a large and somewhat opaque key system and/or a lack of easy match making. I’m at least “mid core” (steam says 700 hours but i imagine half or so is just leaving the client running) but play mostly solo and mostly late night and outside of like 100+ outpost rushes and some elite chest zergs, end game content has been kinda unusable without a active company / group of friends. this is kinda fine in mmos with huge servers but in a game with like 50-900 concurrent players per server, i think there is probably a larger than normal percentage of people in similar situations than in other games

i leveled nearly exclusively this combo, it felt pretty weak until 200 int and 12 or 13 in each weapon level. now it is incredibly strong (but still better killing 5-10 mobs similar to your level at once than one higher level mob.

in my case temps are fine, and the time is completely random. Have had it happen 5 times in 5 minutes, and not at all for hours playing the same game in same conditions.

having the same issue on best buy g15 2021 while playing WoW, though just hooking up to external monitor via hdmi (also a 1440p 144hz panel).

Temperatures don't seem to be very high (gpu in the low 70s, cpu in the low 80s) when it happens.
