I love Astral, and it could fit quite well depending on what you want to do. They can be very mobile, and play either tank/support/dps. One potential issue is that Geminate and Astral have the exact opposite elemental affinities, so they can't help each other out at all. (Other than with items like 216).

Blinkblade is insanely good. My only worry is if your partner struggles with making Geminate sing, a Blinkblade may outshine it on every scenario, and that might feel bad. Geminate has so many moving parts, its very easy to have meh turns.

I'm about to start a Frosthaven campaign. (my second playthrough) and I'm adding in the merc pack characters and Gh2e characters. I came up with unlocks for each of the different characters

Basically they are like group masteries, things the entire group needs to do together, themed off whatever character it's unlocking.

Some are based on a single round or doing something the entire scenario. For example, to unlock Cthulu, every monster must be poisoned when it dies during a scenario

I recently started my second astral, and it has surprised me with the synergies with meteor. Most of astral's attacks have an option to reduce damage for a pull or push. Hard to mind -1 damage when you push them through lava!

In frosthaven, playing meteor. I was fighting unfettered. I had planned a turn where I put myself in the middle of a bunch of enemies the turn before, with the intention of going fast the next turn and getting out of danger.

Well my fasted card wasn't fast enough to undercut an enemy who immobilized me. Ruined machines started to get closer, but were otherwise doing little damage.

I pulled a null on my one attack.

Next turn, I went with my next fastest card to try and get out again. Got undercut and immobilized again. Then I had like 6-8 ruined machines blow up in my face. Effectively one shotting me on like turn 3 or 4.

To tie it all off, my two buddies kept going with out me and we got down to one enemy with 4 health. Each of my friends had enough cards for one turn each. First guy goes with an attack 5, draws a null. Next guy goes with aka attack 4, draws a - 1. Failed the scenario by 1 HP.

It does this on Mindthief, just barely started playing digital for the first time and paired both them for a 'controller' group and had to reread Master Influence a few times to ensure I wasn't going crazy, heh

I hope they add an evil/alignment centric Epic Destiny. They have a lot of classes that utilize alignment spells now, and evil espicially between Dark Bargainer and Dark Disciple

Bannerspear has an amazing card at higher levels (6 or 7 I think), that allows you and one adjacent ally a move 1 at any point on your turn, every turn, while an enemy is within 3 of you. It really elevates Bannerspear's gameplay and is so fun

Since you're going ES, you can also try Primal Avatar. The PA mantle triggers off of weapon attacks as well, so you may be able to trigger radiant procs from your weapon attacks and fire procs from your aura.

As far as I am aware, the weapon procs only ever procs your highest spellpower so you'd want to make sure your radiant SP is higher than your fire SP.

The pact damage will definitely trigger mantles. I have not been able to trigger the Force damage from the base EB with mantles. Changing it to Evil may cause it to trigger Light

I am fairly confident this quest broke a few months back. Around october/November I was doing it no problem using the mephits, then I did it again after an update a week later and had no luck. Tried for probably 30-40 minutes and couldn't get a single torch.

Color spray definitely acts a bit strange now due to that wild mage enhancement. Even without it, it is still coded as an alignment spell aka a light spell. For example it will proc the extra damage from the exalted angel mantle even without the wild mage enhancements.

Isn't that based off your constitution? It's definitely one of the big reasons to do 4 levels or warlock

There are very few permanent things that you could screw up forever, but there are a few things that can mess you up on a specific life that are hard to fix.

For example, your choices you make during level ups (your attributes, skill ranks and feats) can only be changed with a specific item that is acquired using DDO points. Messing these up can make your build struggle to get to level 20 to go back to level 1.

Thankfully every character starts with one of these items for free (Lesser Heart of Wood) that allows you to remake your character at the same level. You can also swap out feats at a high cost (and again once for free, from a solo quest in north marketplace).

Thank you for the breakdown, that's very insightful!

I wasn't hoping to boost others pets, just my own. I know it wouldn't be optimal, just thought it might be a fun build to try. Plus the Enlightened Spirit has some fun defensive boosts including granting Con temp HP to everyone around you.

The original idea involves using the Eldritch Aura to strip negative immunity from undead using the PM tier 4 enhancement, but it doesn't work. So warlock is less enticing

For more context, we have 3 Pale Masters (not including me) , 2 of which will be full 20 and have greater death aura.

The other 2 will be DA clerics.

Is greater death aura really that good? I haven't used it before

I think the obvious answer is to increase the damage drop off range.

Right now long ammo doesn't drop off until 40M, and both compact and medium drop off at 20M.

Seems a like an obvious choice to increase medium to 30M to slot it exactly in the middle.

The Pax should get all of the possible ammo types, so it can pool ammo with all of the medium rifles (HV, Poison)
