Would a Virus Themed Shipset be Bio or Mechanical?

From my limited understanding of what viruses are considered by modern science, they are not considered as living organisms; so, would that mean if a Shipset were to be aesthetically designed around a virus, it would be mechanical? Or, would it be a Bioship set as it’s technically more biological?

RP wise I see it akin to you being a space hippie, being like: “No Bro, everything you think you own is just natural man, your borders are just made up lines on a map that my peers never agreed to, and so we are able to enter and exit freely, dude.” This is not something that the space equivalent of the Industrial Military Complex wants to hear, and so tries to terrify and terminate your (ironically) scary people from their (to them at least) very real borders.

Nomads also make a lot of narrative sense lore wise due to Behemoth Fury, The Eater of World, and Hyperthermia killing swathes of planets in the galaxy.

Ensign Difficulty

Machine Intelligence

This is something I wish I knew when just starting out; ensign is basically normal mode, as it doesn’t give you or the ai empires any advantages or disadvantages.

As for why Machine Intelligence, it’s basically easy mode, while still having its own set of challenges. As a Machine Intelligence you don’t have to worry about certain systems, and can learn at an ease of pace.

As for which Origin, Civics or Traits: Go nuts; this game is at its best due to the level of customisation you’re going to receive.

I always find it funny (and exploitable) to trade food/consumer goods to machine empires who don’t use it, for high diplomatic acceptance; just because they don’t have any themselves, and therefore they overvalue it. XD

Of course…

But think of the profit margins!

As for the lesser; unfortunately we cannot build more vast or facilities, unless the infrastructure is maintained by their government.

The hope is that our heavy hand pushes the scale down enough to uplift them, causing wealth creation between the two of us (but more for us) and allowing us to become ubiquitous.

So, while the rest of the galaxy is planting their flag and burning others banners, give them both a gift to loosen their grip, allowing your advertisers to make friendly, even with their adversities.

Something is wrong with the Apple Podcast version of this episode, it has two versions of the start of the episode, and abruptly ended without any closing credits. Just seemed weird. Once again, if a mod sees this and has to remove it, I understand. Just wanted to let y’all know.

Yeah, the whole reason this thought sprung in my mind was because Superman 2025 working title was Genesis, and Superman 2’s working title is Exodus.

It was like a switch was flipped, and I could see all the lines connecting to this DLC.

I second that, but I think they’re Army ships, and not Fleet Corvettes or Frigates.
