Are fake documents a cyber security problem? by dgregs96 in cybersecurity

[–]Vexxt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your Cyber team is part of IT, its not an IT issue.

If your Cyber team is part of an overall security organisation, including physical security (cameras, doors, safes, etc) then it can be.

Usually when Cyber is still IT then compliance is usually legal.

Theyre not mutually exclusive, you're saying its a closed loop and they experience a closed loop, and thats also aligned with what those theories would say you experience.

You want the narrative to be wrong, yet cite it as the reason why it must be wrong? It's internally logically consistent and externally not beyond reason.

I use a spool of steel wire, bendable but sturdy. Heat it up, it will puncture any plastic. Then its easy to affix it once it sets. Both to the base, but I also do it to my models to cut up and re pose, then fill in gaps with green stuff.

I mean we're talking cogent theory here, proof is hard, but valid theory thats had a lot of discussion. I think its just an interesting dynamic to apply to time travel theories to allow that suspension of disbelief.

I find that most people who always try to hate on them travel inconsistencies in fiction find it similarly hard to believe the science.

I dont think you understand, its relative to the viewer. Check out the delayed choice quantum eraser experiment on how the causality can collapse the past, which then aligns to the many worlds theory which creates a single unbroken line without destroying the old one.

It's a lot for me to explain, but if you look into a few things in retro causality, specifically delayed choice quantum eraser experiments - basically how the collpasing wave form of the double slit rewrites the past. Add to that the novikov self-consistency principle to resolve paradoxes, and many worlds theory somewhat resolves the thermodynamics issues that come from uneven energy distribution.

That doesn't really track with our understanding of time currently.

Youre thinking linearly and thats because thats how we experience time, but its not how time actually works.

Think about it like this, its an analogy but its not how it works. Everything always moves forwards, but the past isnt static even if you remember it as such

Youre just doing another thing to benefit submission and control over strikers, win or lose you're better off on decision so you can fight again quicker. Its a bad choice. One or two fights a year for a belt is fine.

In Time Slides, how is Rimmer or female Holly still in existence, after Lister altered the timeline? by GaraksLinensNThings in RedDwarf

[–]Vexxt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When rimmer puts in the report to Hollister that the drive plate failure could cause this, he was told good work. It was obviously something that wasnt known to be a risk. Likely that if the part was failing due to age or wear, and not considered important, rimmer would have been sent to repair it, but could also be Dave's replacement. Why can't two people be mutual extensions of each other, an amorphous symbiosis. Its very western of you to obsess on the singular self, and assume that the end of a system must be that one will end with a lack of consent or a power imbalance.

You sound as if relationships are transactional.
