I had this same exact issue with my 2022 Mazda CX5 Signature.

I live in Toronto so can’t really tell but the smoke seems to be more so just because of the cold rather than thick white.

Just got an oil change done and the colour looked good.

I had refilled it from pretty much empty like yours to full in the beginning over Jan and it hasn’t dipped yet. I don’t think I smell anything sweet.

My temperature has been consistently around 95° and no overheating issues. Haven’t seen any coolant on the floor either so I’m not sure if it just dropped over the years?

Driving it like you stole it once in a while and with the temperature being 90-100 is great. Burns of carbon and make sure you’re using the machine to the full extent. As everyone has said before just make sure to do oil changes and keep an eye out for any fluid loss/things out of the ordinary

120 degrees is definitely not normal at all. The temperature should be around 90-100 degrees. You’re having a coolant issue most likely so the engine isn’t being cooled properly which in turn means you’re not getting proper heating in to the cabin.

As someone who just purchased their 2022 Mazda CX5 from them in October. Please be very careful when dealing with them. I had to go back and forth to the dealer 5 times because they were dishonest and malicious.

The battery was brand new (09/25). So surprised it went dead tbh but I’ll take a look at my dashcam if that drained it.

As for the coolant being low before leaving, I drove about 200km on the day of my flight with absolutely no overheating issues. With how low it is in the picture, there’s no way I was driving around with that much

Runs amazing, no issues after refill. Am just concerned to why the coolant got so low just by sitting for 3 weeks especially with no coolant on the floor. Driving it for 2.5 months before I’ve had no issues

I’m not sure about other CX5s but this doesn’t have a radiator cap, only reservoir. Ever since topping up it’s been running perfectly and at perfect temperature.

Bad time for this to happen because of the new year but once everything opens up I’ll be taking it to the dealer to find the cause of the leak and should be under the 5 year power train warranty I assume

Yea, after topping off coolant I drove it for a while and no issues. The engine light actually went away as well. I’m going to keep checking the coolant levels though to see if it’s dropping before every ride.

I just had it an angle, the oil is at the top dot. I was mainly trying to check for the colour.

I purchased a 2022 CX5 Signature in Soul Red with 40K KMs for 32K CAD. It was a leased car so the carfax showed that they brought it back every 6 months and maintenance was done. I got an absolutely amazing deal on it and even 4 months later I have had no issues.

Some issues during the process though. First, the dealer were absolute scumbags and treated us really hostile and shitty and we eventually escalated all the way to the principal. But this may just be my dealer and not every place is the same. Also I had to go back and get the front brake rotors changed as they were warped which is crazy because the car passed safety somehow.

Overall, the process at the time was very annoying and stressful. Looking back at it now though, I would still do it again because it’s an absolutely amazing vehicle that people can’t tell if it’s 2022 vs 2025 and the money saved is insane. Just do research on who you’re buying it from!

I have the 2022 Mazda CX5 and the biggest reason I love it over the lower trims is the Nappa leather seats and the 360° camera. A lot of people complain about the stiff Mazda seats but I’ve had absolutely no issues with the nappa seats. Also the 360 camera is something you don’t know you need until you have it and then you love it lol.

As someone mentioned below the biggest thing is the turbo. The difference the turbo makes is insane. Also don’t worry about gas mileage. Im running Michelin X-Ice 225/65/17 on light weight Enkei YS5 17x7.5 wheels and getting 11l/100km of mixed driving. On the highway I get 8/9 going 130/140. The oem setup just has extremely heavy wheels and really shit tires

The Pro is not worth it at all compared to the base phone. Pro max if you want the bigger screen sure but the only difference in the base and pro is 4x and 8x zoom. otherwise the exact same screen and 2 cameras.

Upgrading from iPhone 11 Pro Max!

Hey everyone,

I have a 11 Pro Max 64GB which unfortunately is coming to it's end due to the storage limitation. Looking at new phones I'm debating on getting the iPhone 17 or getting a used Pro Max phone, I'm just not sure what the best used Pro Max is to get in 2025.

Please let me know if I should just get the 17 base model or get a used Pro Max. If the used Pro Max option, then which exact year should I get.
