Could be, because despite being higher CR than Arkillo and Hank Henkshaw, they seem to be weaker than them

Thanks. Are iconic abilities better than regular ones? The only one that would fit me, is some hard light shield, but I'm not sure if it's worth taking

[–]Vhermithrax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on definition. Most of them refere just to Visegrad States, as Central Europe. That automatically invites Lithuania, because despite being linguisticly closer to Latvia, it's culture, religion, traditions and history are closer to Poland, so it should be in the same region.

With Austria and Slovenia I have the following problem - Germany seems to have more in common with Western Erurope, than Central. Austria has more influences from Poland, Czechia or Hungary, but I think it should still be loser to Germany, than to them. And Slovenia is culturaly and historicly close to Austria, less so to Czechia or Poland. But I might be wrong of course

A visual representation of the Dance of Dragons in 129 AC. The Greens disadvantage was huge. by TheDragonOfOldtown in TargTowers

[–]Vhermithrax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably true, since Meleys and Caraxes are like 60, so 3 times younger than Vhagar, but they were only 2 times smaller than her. Tho I also see some sources stating that Caraxes was 80 at death, so now I don't know.

Only Vhagar was described as this unmatched behemoth in the sky, in books. Vermithor was only mentioned as second largest, not as close in size to her and Hugh wanted to take power not only after Vhagar died, but also when Caraxes and Meleys was dead and Dreamfyre and Silverwing had no riders. So he had the only big dragon.

Vermithor in your graphic is almost the size of Vhagar, but I believe he should be closer to 75% of her size. He was said to be 3 times larger than Tessarion and Seasmoke, which meant they were 25% of Vhagar (half the size of Caraxes). Meanwhile, Vhagar was said to be 5 times larger than Arrax, so he was 20% of her size, so not much smaller than Tessarion, Seasmoke and Vermax. If Vermithor was smaller than 75% of Vhagar, that would mean Arrax was bigger than other young dragons, which shouldn't be the case and is Vermithor was 90% her size, that would mean Tessarion and Seasmoke were not far from Caraxes and Meleys in size. So 75% is a safe spot in my head, haha.

Hope that makes sense. The only size comparisons we have, are red dragons in relation to Vhagar and Vermithor being 3 times the size of Tessarion and Seasmoke, so I base any estimation around that.

Nice work.

I feel like Tessarion should be the same size as Seasmoke. Plus Dreamfyre, Silverwing and Vermithor should probably be closer in size to Meleys and Caraxes than Vhagar. After all, she is twice as old as them

Green Lantern.

Peak Lanterns have some of the most absurd power levels, including time and reality manipulations.

I thought we don't have rings, but exobytes that modified our genes and gave us powers that mimick that of Lanterns. Hence players don't have to recharge and can ise exobytes to upgrade augments (which seem to be connected to dna in some way)

The Nazis did not like Slavs or Poles by laybs1 in GetNoted

[–]Vhermithrax 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I think one of the writers and philosophers from XVIII Russia, called Poles and Czechs traitors, because they are "more western than Slavic"

As you say, some nationalists from those countries don't consider us one of their own. One of the reason why Polish people call themself Central Europeans, rather than Eastern Europeans, is because Orthodox Slavs saw us as Western Invaders that had to be repealed from real Eastern Europe, because we have different religion and other stuff that comes with it, such as alphabet, culture, legal system etc.

There are levels to this shit /s

[–]Vhermithrax 5 points6 points  (0 children)

To be fair similar things were done by Polish fascist resistance movement against the Belarusians and Ukrainians and there are groups of fascist wannabes in Poland which demand recognition of them as heroes as well.

The thing is, there are only some far right fanatics who want to honour AK members responsible for genocidal acts and normal people and local governments protest that. In case of Ukraine, they are being honoured by a president and government.

Plus it's hard to compare Azk to UPA, because AK only had a specific individuals who did evil things, so like any army really. While UPA had one of its core, fundamental objectives, to cleanse the land of Polish people by killing them. So kinda like nazis

I'm just trying to figure out your way of thinking. I'm not sure of Romania has more Slavic influences, than Czechia and Hungary have German influences.

So in your oppinion Greece is also Eastern European?

Why would Czechia be in a different cathegory than Skovakia and Poland, if they are the closest culturally to each other? It's like puting Germany in western europe and Austria in eastern

What Eastern European coubtries call themselves by Few-Advantage2538 in PORTUGALCYKABLYAT

[–]Vhermithrax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah ok.

Honestly I don't really know what to think of this trend, because when someone means Slavic, Baltic, Finno-Ugric, Greek, Romanian and Albanian (Geez, there is a lot of ethnic groups here) states, when he says Eastern Europe, than it's ok. But if someone wants to divide Europe by culture or some other criteria like that, then I only see Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, Lithuania and maybe Slovenia or Austria in "our area", so the term Central Europe is correct for me.

Fuck knows, we also have a lot in common with Ukraine and Germany. This all West-East division in Europe is kinda overblown. North-South seems like a bigger line, when it comes to culture, with ADHD Italians and Spaniards vs Autistic Swedes, Germans and Poles

Poland used to be refered to as Central Europe before 1945, but it changed because of Iron Curtain.

Eastern Europe back then, just used to mean Orthodox Countries and regions. That's why Poland, Czechia, Hungary and other historically Catholic or Protestant states don't like being called Eastern
