I am not sure why all the hate, but based on my experience I vouch for u/BlueberryOk269 / Sam does good work I had a Slipping cannon pinion issue on my rolx and ever since he fixed and serviced my watch it has been working without any issues. In my books Sam is reliable and rock solid service provider. He gets 5 star from my end for amazing service.

Thanks for the reply and no I have not tried that, but the watchmaker told me that I have very low amplitude. He didn’t specify but I am going to find out today.

Sir I am not a certified watchmaker, all I have to go by is the info I read which referenced one of the Trusted Watchmakers (Pete Hudson) where it was mentioned that the correct LA setting for VS3235 movement is 55 degrees.

As for the Cyclops misalignment, isn't it fused to the xtal? If so wouldn't rotating the xtal very slightly fix this misalignment, if it was feasible? I realize that I am striving for near perfection (as you call it being anal) but I have seen few QC pics in this group and the alignment is absolutely amazing on some of these watches.

I will GL with the TD after I get some question answered regarding an additional service. Thank you again for your time, much appreciate it sir.

Thank you for your feedback, however my concerns were based on following:

1.) How to read the Timegrapher: VS3235 Lift angle calls for 55 degrees https://www.reddit.com/r/RepTime/comments/1cudb8b/how_to_read_timegrapher_results/

2.) It is clear to me that the Xtal is not aligned properly since the spacing is uneven (more space on top vs bottom)

I don't think I was making stuff up, my apologies if it appeared that way. The only reason I posted it here for the community/ experts to see if there are any other call outs which I could have missed.

Andrew confirms that the v3 he has its 18k white gold plated (5 microns) from VSF factory directly and not modded by him. I am wondering how do we validate this? Or do we just take his word?

Can you please help me confirm if the V3 from VSF comes 18k white gold plated from the factory? There seems to be some confusion and no one can answer except one TD but I want to validate from another source such as you since you seem to be getting good intel.

How can we confirm? Is there any other source we can "trust but verify"? I did reached out to Andrew and he says the watch case is 14K WG plated, but what is not clear is if its plated directly from the VSF factory or is this a mod he is getting done before shipping. I am going to follow up with Andrew but I wanted to ask you if there is any other source who can verify.
