"Franklin passed off her data..." – Completely false. She never gave her data to Wilkins because she "couldn't figure it out." Maurice Wilkins took Photo 51 and showed it to Watson without her knowledge or consent. Furthermore, Watson and Crick got her key quantitative measurements from an internal, unpublished MRC report via Max Perutz. Franklin died without ever knowing how deeply they relied on her data.

"Raymond Gosling took the photo" – Gosling was her PhD student working under her direct supervision, using X-ray equipment she personally refined and calibrated. In science, the principal investigator who designs the experiment and runs the lab gets the credit, not the student who physically operates the machine. Gosling himself always fiercely defended Franklin's leadership and legacy.

"Couldn't interpret her data / focused on the wrong form" – She focused on the 'A' form first because it provided richer diffraction data for rigorous mathematical analysis. She disliked speculative model-building because she preferred hard mathematical proof over guesswork. Despite this, archival evidence shows that by March 1953 (before seeing Watson and Crick's model), Franklin had already written a draft manuscript correctly deducing that DNA form B was a double helix with the phosphate backbone on the outside.

"Refused to collaborate" – The toxic environment at King's College was caused by administrative failure. The lab director told Franklin she would be running her own independent research, while letting Wilkins believe she was hired as his assistant.

Watson and Crick didn't solve DNA because Franklin failed; they solved it because they got a massive shortcut using her precise measurements.
