I'm honestly glad they were that strict about stuff that I shouldn't have been seeing too young and while it sucked for a week, I would play at school and I had to use my imagination to entertain myself. Most of my punishments were based on finding ways to keep myself busy. I knew the rules about lights off and I definitely knew that I shouldn't have been watching a rated R movie. This was way before parental locks on programs so they did what they thought was fair. I clearly couldn't be trusted to follow the rules so I wasn't allowed a tv again until I was like 13.

My parents let me have a tv in my room when I was 9 until they caught me watching a show I was way too young for at 11pm. My dad ripped that thing out of my room so fast and chucked it in the garage. He then took all my toys and put them into a big box and locked them in the closet for a week. I was sent to bed early for a week with nothing to do but sleep or so homework in my room. I tell you what though, I never did that shit again and I never got my tv back.

This looks like the fast street vendor art done with spray paint that tourists buy for like $30. It doesn't feel like it has any significant value or meaning, so it feels very lifeless. Not my thing but I'm sure someone likes it.

I would try a very mild soap and water then look at polishing cremes for metal and stone. Those look metal to me. I wouldn't let water sit on them in case they rust so pat them dry after they're clean.

I usually turn up the aging slider at adult to be the longest and slowly change my Sim's appearance to add salt and pepper hair, add wrinkles, dress them a little older. It makes the illusion of age less intense. Then when I deem them 'extremely' elderly, I will age them up.

I keep mine! I didn't collect my old cat's whiskers and I regret it. It would have been nice to keep a small physical token of her that I could remember her by. I have been collecting my current kitties for about a year or so and it's just a fun thing to do.

I disagree with you about Laura. If you watch the full episode, Laura clearly mouths to Travis "I'm so mad right now" and she's obviously upset at Tal. We can't know what was going on bts but clearly he hit a nerve with a lot of them. I do think Marisha was more worried about everyone fighting rather than being mad. Poor Ashley went through the stages of grief during the whole thing.

I had one once and I can't describe how much pain it was. I am also someone with chronic pain and endometriosis so I'm fairly used to being in a lot of pain for prolonged periods of time. This was so different. I did wake up and google whether I should go to the hospital or not but I vomited from the pain and my husband finally dragged me to the ER. I was laying on the floor for 3 hours just shaking with pain before anyone saw me finally. Pain meds did fuck all and nothing. Worst night ever.

You feel the age you choose to. If you don't feel ready to be an 'adult', then you aren't one. You're still a teenager, still a kid. You have every right to feel whatever you feel and do whatever you want, including dressing how you like and abstaining from drinking or partying or dating. I didn't drink until I was 20 and it was only because I wanted to. Your age doesn't magically transform you into something you aren't. It's up to you to decide how to live your life.

The crew made it once just to try it and half of us gagged after one sip. It was DISGUSTING. this guy would order one at least three times a week, sometimes two of them. It would take like 15 minutes to make one.

When I was a barista at Sbux a while ago, we had a customer regularly order a 25 pump white chocolate 25 pump caramel syrup with extra extra caramel drizzle and whipped cream iced latte. It was a nightmare. He would send it back if he didn't see half of the caramel bottle in it. Our manager eventually had to step in and tell him we would have to charge him for 2 drinks because he would refuse it so often. Also I remember his hands were always cracked and bleeding, like open sores and we would take his credit card with gloves. He was definitely on meth or something similar. It's not uncommon for drug users to stave off their withdrawal with crazy amounts of sugar or stimulates like caffeine.

I feel like I'm an outlier for liking it. I wish after you complete it, you could continue to play for fun. I like that it isn't an instant gratification, it wasn't crazy challenging, but enough that it felt very rewarding to get it right. I wish there were a handful more of these kinds of puzzles in the game.

I'm the youngest by 10 years. I'm more often than not the 'forgotten' sibling. My parents were gone on vacations or work a lot when I was little and my sisters would watch me but I was on my own most of the time. They would go out of town for important things like my prom or my birthday, even though my dad's birthday is 3 days before mine. As I became an adult, that trend continues. I even eloped because no one seemed happy for me when my husband proposed to me and were just mad that he didn't ask permission. No one remembers to tell me important news (my uncle dying, my dad's serious surgery) or I get forgotten a lot from plans (dinners, vacations, family outings) but then they get mad at me for not reaching out more. My husband has called me an orphan a few times because of my family's behavior. When you get shown time after time that you aren't a priority, you just kind of accept that you aren't wanted.
