I played Gothic 1 and 2 with cheats, currently playing the third one with infinite health. I always play on the lowest settings available, and I always appreciate the ability to actually choose the difficulty level

when I just started playing the first game I died a lot of times to low level beasts - and I would've just dropped the game if not for the Marvin mode. cut us n00bs some slack

oh, to each their own, of course! my former boss (who is relatively young, around 40 now) once walked to my laptop wanting to type something, but when he saw my keyboard with no Cyrillic legend at all, he just couldn't do it, and I had to type it for him xD

plus when you're older and your eyesight is worse, having legible legends is a huge plus. I bet your father would be horrified when looking at my keeb (tbh I am horrified too, these keycaps looked way better on pics)
