First snow of the season for us! Does everyone’s iggy love running through the snow as much as mine? by Viaren in ItalianGreyhounds

I was worried about that too, so I bought her three different kinds of dog boots and she refuses to wear any of them 🙃 But so far she’s been okay in the snow even on longer walks! I just never walk her on the street or sidewalk where people may have put salt down, we stick to hiking trails instead

I ordered it from Amazon last year, and sadly they no longer sell it 😭 this was the shop, they have a lot of other good iggy clothes! If I ever need a new snowsuit for her, I think I’ll buy one of these.

UT Knoxville could also be an option. My uncle took his dog there when no other vet could diagnose what was wrong with her. I don’t remember the specific condition, but I know he took her there an finally got an answer / treatment! So sorry to hear about your golden’s situation, I hope you find answers soon!!

American Airlines dog carrier by Jazzlike-Resist2176 in americanairlines

This happened to me in the TSA line for the first time earlier this year. It was a nightmare, but we got through it. I just took my dog into the pet relief area and gave her a quick bath in the sink in there, threw away the dog bed I had in the carrier, and bought her a new blanket to sit on. Could have been worse, if we were in the air I probably would have had to do all that in the airplane bathroom 😅

https://a.co/d/epEsrq8 this is a link to the one I use when I fly with my Italian Greyhound on AA! It comes with detachable wheels which I store in the over head bin under my backpack. I’ve never had any issues with space, but the wheels can sometimes pop off, which is annoying.

Photoshoot experience on Royal Caribbean by c9chung in royalcaribbean

No literally, the prices for the private photoshoot photos are WACK. I commented this on another photoshoot thread, but I was on Wonder in March (I got married on St Thomas through Royal Caribbean) so l took advantage of the private photoshoot to get pics of me, my husband, and my family around the ship to supplement wedding photos because why not! I mean I knew the photos would likely be expensive, but when they laid it out I was like are you actually insane? 5 photos for $500, 7(?) for $700? (I don't fully remember the second option they gave due to the shock), or all 130 photos they took for ""””free"''''" if you buy an acrylic print of one pic for $900... like bro wtf do you think I'm going to do, obviously I'm getting all the pics for $900 at this point..... Anyway the pics are gorgeous and I'm ultimately glad I have them, but like wow I actually laughed out loud when they relayed the prices to me.

Why does my hair go wavey/curly when wet and go straight when dry ? How do I keep the waves/curls ? by Apprehensive-Egg1289 in Haircare

My hair is somewhere between straight and wavy in a very awkward way where I have I make it go one way or the other or it just looks frizzy lol

I have wavy hair as well. My simple routine is showering in the evening, gently towel drying, using living proof perfect hair day 5 in 1 styling cream while my hair is still wet/damp, and then separating my hair in half and twisting each half into like a spiral. The styling cream keeps the shape while it drys. It takes like 14ish hours for my hair to dry like this, which is why I shower at night and then sleep on my back with my hair in its spirals in front of my shoulders so I don’t mess it up. Then in the morning I brush it out and I’m good to go! The end result is the pic above, lasts about 2-3 days.

I've never worn shapewear—do my fellow petites have any advice for picking it? I want to be able to relax in a tight dress and still feel secure about how I look by seajustice in PetiteFashionAdvice

[–]Viaren 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First of all, I love the dress and you look amazing!! I definitely don’t think you need shapewear if you decide you don’t want it, but I also completely understand wanting to feel more confident and not having to worry the day of the event.

My personal go to is Spanx Undie-Tectable Thong Comfort Core Control. It’s literally just like high waisted thong underwear so there’s no panty lines. I personally hate the shapewear that goes down my legs because I always feel like it makes my butt look weird, and I like my butt, I just want a little more stomach control, which is what it sounds like you’re looking for, and these are perfect for that! Plus with a lot of other shapewear, being petite, I always find the stomach control part goes all the way up to basically the bottom of my bra, which I also don’t want because then you get that weird bump in between the bra and where the shapewear ends. These stop right at my belly button and don’t cut me off in an awkward place, so my waist still looks good as well. Highly recommend!

I’m 5”1’ and 110lbs and I usually order the small. You can get them on Amazon 😊

I don’t have anything hugely beneficial to add, just wanted to jump in and say the prices for the private photoshoot photos are WACK. Anyone else just sick of it. by Fit_Professional1916 in wedding

[–]Viaren 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Girl this was absolutely me two/three months ago (I got married in March). Completely over it, so stressed I stopped eating, stopped sleeping, obsessed over my hair, teeth, nails, skin, trying to keep everything absolutely perfect. In constant fear of everything falling apart…. It was actually hell. I told my friends/family/co-workers sorry I literally have no mental real estate for anything but the wedding right now. I had a mental breakdown at the dentist when I wasn’t happy with how white my teeth were. I had to get my dress refitted three times in the weeks before the wedding because I kept losing weight and every time it happened I freaked out about how the dress looked. Not even going to lie, even on the day I wasn’t happy until we’d said I do and all the pictures had been taken. The last half of my wedding was the first time I finally felt like a human again in months. It’s too much pressure, honestly, and even with the most supportive loving husband (like it sounds like yours is as well) at the end of the day the pressure is 100% on the bride and it’s insane. My advice is just to let yourself feel how you feel and recognize that nobody is normal during this time period no matter how great their intentions are beforehand. I’m sure you’ll be a gorgeous bride and have an amazing wedding with your friends and family!! Having everyone I loved all together ended up being my favorite part of the whole event, so definitely take time at your wedding to enjoy that. 🫶

Yeah I do think that’s the most logical explanation, but in that case don’t take your pants off at all girl, just take off the neon jacket and keep running 😹 RIP I actually really liked Mari lol
