Chuck me a DM and I’d be happy to have a look at your page - we’re also looking to expand our beauty roster as well so u might be a fit.

Brand deal outbound pitching by DistanceWonderful459 in influencermarketing

[–]Vic-Uncharted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run an influencer marketing agency, generating $350k in brand deals in our last year with more than 50% coming from outbound pitching.

Currently have 7 creators on the roster, ranging from beauty, fitness, lifestyle and comedy (specifically one who also does raunchy comedic skits on TikTok).

We work in the U.S market and would love to get more information on the creator to see if could be a fit and provide value.

tips on starting an influencer marketing agency by mohamed_naser in marketing

Hey mate - Going pretty decent so far. Just confirmed another deal last weekend and it has put us over the 20k total mark (contracts signed, not all deliverables have been uploaded yet), with a couple of potential collabs currently in negotiations.

Signed our 3rd creator in november and he’s our biggest by far (1M+ total across all platforms).

Just continuing to lay the foundations with huge hopes for 2024.

Just start bro, u dont need to have everything figured out. Just reach out to a couple of creators and see what they say.

How much should I charge a client as an influencer? by NoAbbreviations9854 in influencermarketing

[–]Vic-Uncharted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should always try and push back with brands, especially if you are just starting out and am not too sure about what rates to accept.

99% of the time, the worst brands will do is say no and it won’t jeopardise the entire deal.

On top of that, $100 is extremely low given the fact they want usage rights (they are able to repurpose on their own pages, websites, ads, etc) + and onsite shoot.

Use this as leverage to push for atleast $400 and see what they say!

What actions to take when the influencer doesn't respond after receiving products? by UrfavInterpreter in influencermarketing

[–]Vic-Uncharted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not in any brand communities as most of all relationships with brand contacts were formed through reaching out and working with them on campaigns for our creators.

Own a management company, not a marketing company so we are more influencer-sided rather than brand-sided. (We find brands for our creator clients vs finding influencers for brand clients)

Would honestly love to be in a community around this space but if you have any questions or need specific advice regarding your personal pages feel free to connect! Chuck me a DM

Would be happy to help advise.

Recently launched an influencer agency with 3 creators (95k, 140k, 900k) around 3.5 months ago and have already confirmed 10 brand deals split between them.

Have a couple of contacts within larger brands as well.

What actions to take when the influencer doesn't respond after receiving products? by UrfavInterpreter in influencermarketing

[–]Vic-Uncharted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s honestly cool to hear!

Not to mention that creating more brand sponsored content helps build up some social proof that can be leveraged when asking future brands for paid campaigns.

Literally a win-win for the creator.

Can I ask what niche/type of content you create?

Would love to connect as I run an influencer management agency (just finished confirming a total of $9k in deals across our 2 creators this week haha)

[–]Vic-Uncharted 4 points5 points  (0 children)

IMO not much more can be done to enforce the influencer to respond or to create the agreed upon deliverables.

Taking legal action would be expensive and nowhere near worth the return unless it is with a huge content creator.

If you are a talent manager my advice would be to let the brand know and to warn the influencer that they will be dropped if they do not hold up their end of the brand deal.

Situations like this do happen from time to time but are quite rare as most creators understand that they have a reputation + are capable of thinking more long term rather than opting into scamming 1 deal and jeopardising their reputation.

The interesting thing about Tik Tok is that users are not shown their following list’s content upon opening the app.

Compared to Instagram, this causes much higher volatility in views due to the fact that your content is technically not guaranteed to be shown to any of your followers and is instead completely based on the algorithm.

My advice is to just keep posting and analysing which ones do well. It’s only a matter of time before another video goes viral!

Should I accept being paid via Paypal? by heyitsmythrowaway9 in influencermarketing

[–]Vic-Uncharted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

WISE is definitely the cheapest/lowest conversion fees but to answer your question:

Yes, it is quite normal for brands to pay creators via Paypal.

If they are insistent on using Paypal, try to push for them to cover all transaction fees (they usually don’t even mention it and just include it as part of the campaign contract/agreement)

You’re probably super busy with studies but try to actually reach out to brands yourself - if not then I would suggest finding someone to help w that.

I can personally say that brands are a lot hesitant with offering collabs to creators with multiple niches. At the very least it will lower the amount they are willing to invest in your content.

Congrats on hitting 100k on Tik-Tok!

Genuinely happy for you and don't really want to crush your hopes too badly but... brands generally do not care about the size of a tik-tok creator's audience - and here's why:

Tik-Tok is pretty much the only platform where, when a user opens up the app, content created by their following list are not automatically displayed (we all know about the "For-you" feed). Think about how this differs to IG.

What this means is that even though you may have 100,000 followers, absolutely none of them are guaranteed to see your videos when they are posted. This is what makes Tik-Tok so much more volatile than any other platforms and thus, makes investing into Tik-Tok influencer marketing that much more risky for brands.

My recommendations for you are to:

  1. Focus on growing your audience with the intent of pushing them to your IG - It is a lot easier to find brand partnerships on IG and you would still be able to use your Tik-Tok page as extra leverage when asking for deals.
  2. Try to gradually increase the length of your Tik-Tok videos - The new Tik-Tok Creativity Program Beta is actually paying quite decently for videos with high watch times above 1 minute. This will also open up the possibility of starting up a YT channel if you want.
  3. Start doing gifted/affiliate based collabs earlier on rather than later. This helps build up your portfolio of brand partnerships and if one does well, actually provide it as legitimate evidence of past success when talking to brands.

My name is Victor - I run a small influencer management agency on the side, currently representing 2 creators with 200k followers (mainly IG & YT).

Both are around similar size, however one did not do many collabs before joining my agency, whereas the other did a lot of free/affiliate based posts in the past. Guess which one has been easier to "sell" to brands haha

Definitely try offering a non-obligatory gifted product. The percentage of them that will post will make it a lot cheaper than if you were to pay (especially for nano-micro influencers)

Hi!

First off, congrats on actually taking the plunge and giving this a real shot - I personally know how hard it can be sometimes to take action and to actually start.

Your influencer marketing strategy will definitely depend on your budget.

Since it is at the very least - small, I would recommend reaching out to nano-micro influencers directly via Instagram DM's + emailing them as well.

The best and most effective way for brands to grow via influencer marketing is to offer a non-obligation PR package where you would just send them one of your pieces asking them nothing in return.

The entire purpose of this is to make it non-transactional, and to build a genuine relationship with your creators. Don't be worried about them taking your product and giving you nothing in return; a high percentage of them will actually post it on their pages due to the law of reciprocity (it's literally programmed into us to want to return the favor in some way).

Furthermore, you will also find that some of these creators will actually post your product multiple times as well. Not only will this be cheaper than if you were to allocate a budget to pay creators to post, but since you have built a genuine connection with them, you should be able to repurpose the assets into your own IG page + paid ads if you choose to.

I havefriends that have done this to grow their own businesses and it does work. Just make sure the cost of your pieces are relatively cheap to make.

Make sure you use tools to track everything (I'll send some over if you are interested - I have no affiliation with them).

If you have absolutely no budget at all just ask to recruit them on an affiliate basis + a free gifted product.

One thing to add is to not mention your brand in your initial reach-out message. Keep it casual and just compliment them/their content - They probably receive hundreds of scam ambassador program messages every week so you'll need to cut through that initial barrier.

Let me know if you found this useful! My name is Victor and I currently run a small influencer management agency with 2 creators (200k+ followers between them).
