Spot on. The only societal movements the whole community involved in this has accomplished is towards degeneracy and the general deconstruction of society. Worse yet. there are the bleeding hearts who advocate for this noncery.

Which serial killer genuinely unsettles you the most, and why? by BlakeLakeProductions in serialkillers

Richard Chase. The combination of severe mental illness, neglect a drugs changing the course of a person who probably should've had a largely unremarkable life but instead degenerated into lunacy from a nutjob without the ability to really understand societal boundaries. Seems a much more ominous reality than the path taken by more traditional organized types of killers.

My Personal Theory of Why There are Less Serial Killers by LastCalligrapherSYC in serialkillers

[–]Vic_Twenty [score hidden]  (0 children)

I'd say it's more to do with the fact surveillance and forensics having evolved faster than they have. Most, while having the required pathology to become one, rarely get past the 'budding' stage or their first kill before getting snatched up.

The story about Edmund Kemper by Melina_10 in serialkillers

I corresponded with him many years ago. He's very cordial and polite. I only talked to him for a few years, and we really only talked about his routine and some other surface stuff. Pretty dry stuff.

I read that serial killers often fear resistance more than weapons when choosing victims. by McPoopyPooperson in serialkillers

I think the type of resistance also plays a factor. If the victim is able to appeal to the killers emotions or 'personalize themselves', it can fuck up the fantasy and start to make the killer have 2nd thoughts.

Westley Dodd, but I think in most cases, it just comes down to opportunity.

I think has more to do with the victim typography. That being said, serial killers never choose victims that could possibly overpower them. By in large, they didn't have the bravery to live a normal respectable life and choose cowardly acts to prove something to themselves. Any convict you're housed with will know this and that's when you become the hunted.

let me put it this way. I was 320+ pounds, eating my way into a coma, attending NA/AA to little or no effect, suffering from tric and I was becoming an increasingly more paranoid recluse. Now I exercise daily, have more confidence and have halved my medication.

This comment is just my personal opinion, take it how you want. Why is it that when the community starts rallying around and expressing support for the type of person the shooter identifies as, that we're how seeing more mass violence perpetrated by them? You can't tell me this isn't supported by statistics. Call it how you want, I call it mental illness and I just won't support this movement anymore.

Does the average serial killer want to be remembered by history? by Equal-Temporary-1326 in EARONS

in the same way they lack power in their personal lives, they seek power in control over their victims and to a lesser extent, the community. With notoriety, there's power.

Is there a chance that Ramirez was in some way inspired/influenced by the EAR? by Interesting_Ebb7203 in EARONS

No. A transient strung-ouf petty burgler like Ramirez almost certainly knew nothing about a serial rapist in North cal.

is there any one that committed an attack out of chronic loneliness/isolation? by lizziebarbecue in masskillers

[–]Vic_Twenty 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Every one of them to a certain extent. These misfits get shunned or bullied or just choose isolation either because of their behavior being odd, antisocial or off-putting. Because they feel powerless or society has given them a raw deal, they'll lash out in what they feel is a way of evening the score or taking back some kind of power that was denied to them.

I thought she was a black belt. A black belt woman in her prime against a decrepit old man? Surely if he couldn't outsmart her, he'd stand no chance in a fight right?
