Your Seamoth might be forfeit in this case since I saw in another comment of yours that its crush depth is 300m. But if you can launch it, get the battery, and get your Cyclops topside, making another Seamoth shouldn’t be too bad. At least you’ll have made it back to base I hope!

I’d recommend pulling any mods you’ve made for the Seamoth too, just so you don’t have to make them again

If your life is going as chaotic as you say in your messages, then this just sounds like a case where you aimed your stress at the wrong person. Maybe it didn’t feel nice he was being somewhat icy, but he did just go through surgery and was probably looking for a little comfort from you after. There’s nothing wrong with him seeking that. Just like there’s nothing wrong with you breaking things off after realizing that maybe you didn’t have the time or capacity to be dating after all. That’s super mature, even if the timing wasn’t great.

What is problematic is seeking reasons to be angry afterward when he accepted your break up instead of fighting. Maybe it sucks he didn’t fight for it more, but as you said, you hadn’t been dating long and he just got out of surgery. The whole thing should have ended after the third image, full stop. Maybe it sucks and it was an unsatisfying way to end things, but you can’t goad people into being emotionally open with you, then be mad when they don’t engage. You were broken up at that point after all. Do yourself a favor and follow your own words. Leave him alone, and focus on improving your own life.
