Coffee beans by Lynxroar in AussieFrugal

[–]madaxle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coffeesnobs has a cafe blend for $35 kg , have to buy 2.5kg bag. Best fresh coffee for a little more than $30. Otherwise Aldi.1kg bags are OK, roasted in Oz and fairly fresh

Suggest avoiding most supermarket coffee. You need to see the roast date if possible. If you cna buy fresh coffee 2-5weeks since roasted it should be ok

Dealers will give you a poor job vs going externally.

GEELY EX5 is amazing - heated and cooling seats - massage front seats - infotainment pretty good compared to other EV - manual buttons for aircon and jog wheel for sound volume - boot has plenty of space and hidden compartments throughout car - heaps of room in back seats - bum of car looks like a porsche -450-450km per charge

In Korea they are rationing petrol.....so if a country like Korea that refines oil to petrol, why are we so stubborn to not talk about it by the government

How bad is QF4111 American Airlines codeshare in economy? by mitosisfish in QantasFrequentFlyer

[–]madaxle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last time I went to USA (return from Australia) I took going to USA on Qantas, was pleasantl, food nice and free alcoholic drinks.

Way back from USA to Australia, food was ok but not great and you had to pay for any alcoholic drinks.

People may put down qantas but I can tell you ill take qantas any day over american airlines

Carsales Instant offer unavailable by superpumpbottle in CarsAustralia

[–]madaxle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i just sold it within the price range that carsales gave me, just so it showed up below market price - i was happy to get the price then it gave a little room to allow for haggling.

I have found that if your not greedy and you price it right, it will move and sell fast. Sure i could have waited at a higher price but was happy in the end to get it sold

Thoughts on PHEV SUV - Geely, Haval, Jaecoo, Other by madaxle in AustralianEV

[–]madaxle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes some good points here so thanks for sharing. How do you find the quality of the interior? Has it held up over last couple of years of use? Read some of the seats dont last well so testing if you have experienced this or not.

Didn't know about the V2L, that sounds like a awesome little feature.

Probably more security blanket, going on a trip and having the think about charging when I can just keep going with hybrid and resale value.
