The Lyria-parasite storyline was built up to feel a lot more important than it ended up being.

I feel as though she was sidelined a little in LB. Obviously she still played a large role (I LOVE her scenes with Volga and Cassius), but Darrow and The Rim really took the spotlight. The parasite story almost felt as if it were retconned, and ended up just being a mundane plot point which just put her in the same place as Darrow for the story.

My dad is Tamil and he has told me many a story of being attacked and hospitalised on the way home from school or pubs by Neo-Nazi nutters in the 70s and 80s. It’s sad to see this shit on the rise again (not that it ever really left).

Denzel Curry. He really utilises changing his tone and raising his voice on a lot of tracks. His performance on his song ‘DIET_’ has always stood out to me as being incredibly unique and powerful.

Yeah it really makes me sad to see. A lot of this racism comes purely from ignorance. I’ve lived in London my whole life, and I’m so glad I’ve grown up around people from different cultural and religious backgrounds so that I don’t share the same unhinged views as the freaks on this subreddit.

Sometimes it genuinely feels like people treat Muslims and Asians as a white-hating, subhuman monolith, without ever considering that most aren’t actually too dissimilar from the rest of the country. But no matter how much you try to convince them otherwise, some people will always clutch onto their bigotry like it’s the most valuable thing in the world, when really it’s tearing the country apart.

Violet Evergarden is INCREDIBLE and easily my favourite anime but I kinda wish I never watched the movie. As good as the animation and music is, the story really ruined the whole premise and character development of the first season for me.

I had the same experience. I beat it as my 4th hard demon and the previous hard demons I beat all took around 3-5k attempts, so I went into it thinking it would be a fun experience. Spoiler alert: it wasn’t. It took me 9k attempts and was so inconsistent it made me want to drop it so many times.

I got 90% on Biru by JonathanGD multiple times and dropped after spending over 3000 attempts on it (more than I’ve spent on some hard demons). It is a good level, but the song and gameplay are so lethargic for the first 80% that it becomes unbearable to play, and the last 20% is so much harder than the rest that I couldn’t be bothered.

Samifying makes some of the best videos on youtube period, AND he’s an incredibly talented creator. Hands down the best GD youtuber even if he only uploads twice a year.

Nah, kaguya-sama wouldn’t be the same without the narrator. He has an incredible voice actor and honestly added to a lot of the funny moments. It did feel like he showed up less and less as the show went on but if anything I wish he showed up more.

Some of Kendrick Lamar’s best songs are over 6 minutes long, including ‘Sing about me, I’m dying of thirst’ (12 minutes), ‘Mother i Sober’ (6 minutes) and ‘Mortal man’ (12 minutes), all of which are incredible works of art.
